Jix Hobbies

Great stock selection for scale models, paints, and RC supplies, with staff who genuinely know their stuff and are always ready to give advice. The shop is well-organized and a fantastic spot to browse for new projects. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that popular items tend to go out of stock quickly and it can get quite busy around the checkout on weekends, but it’s still easily one of the best hobby shops around. Highly recommended for any builder or hobbyist.

There is an enormous variety of hobby products. From puzzles to boardgames to model trains to Warhammer Fantasy and 40k as well as other miniature wargames. Staff are incredibly attentive (almost bothersomely so) and highly knowledgeable within each area. Whether it be in choosing an army to play for whatever miniature wargame to how to best paint them and even more nichely so - how to decorate their bases. I appreciated their attentivenes and enthusiasm, even if all I gained was an exciting conversation about the best paint brush to paint my mini army men. Great store! I could easily spend an afternoon here, browsing their selection and chatting to staff.

Extensive range of products and continuously expanding. Rudi and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They keep me up to date with new products and know me well enough to suggest new products that align with my preferences. They are not shy to make suggestions or offer advice across their wide range. Pleasant shopping, feels like family and the highlight of my shopping rounds.

I went in looking for filler primer for a 3D print, my friend suggested to me that I should visit this store in search of it. They had, but it would cost me more than if I went with an alternative. What I liked about visiting this store is from the start, the staff was incredibely friendly. They leveraged each other's expertise to help me solve my problem and suggested I go to the hardware store as I would be able to find exactly what I am looking for. They didn't try sell me goods that would have costed me more than an alternative, which I really appreciated, it made me feel more welcomed and comfortable if I am honest due to the staff not trying to make a quick buck. The one staff member, forgive me for not knowing his name, but he helped me identify exactly what I needed, he explained how can I make my print (A 3D clone trooper helmet), look good, how can I sort out the weathering and overall gave me extra tips on what to do, explaining how and why I should do what he is suggesting which I enjoyed. He imparted knowledge and tried to see that my needs were met, even referring me exactly where to go and what to look for to even the brand name of the specific filler primer paint. I will say, my most enjoyable experience I have had so far. They have a wide range of goods on sale, from minifigures like tanks etc to even air bruhses. Definitely a one stop shop for hobbie within their realm, if you got a hobby and they sell things for it, there is an incredibly high likelihood that they sell it and they aren't expensive at all considering what i have seen other places charge. Definitely worth a visit

Customer service was the best that I have ever seen. Jix Hobbies has everything for your hobby needs! Legos, planes, cars, bike etc! As soon as we came in someone came and asked for help. In and out in 10 minutes and had everything i needed and suggestions for making my build better! Good to get opinions from people with serious experience as someone with no experience! Also got some ideas from looking at their custom cars! They are built with precision! Just a bit expensive but that is because the rc drift stuff is imported from Japan so it is understandable! Keep it up! You guys are doing great!
