Montevideo hidden gem alert 🎲🇺🇾 Me and Mel have been wandering through Uruguay this weekend and somehow ended up on a side quest trying to find this awesome little board game store called Montevideo Gaming House. Now here’s the important part because this confused us for a minute 😂 You CANNOT enter directly from the street. You have to go into the flex/shared office space entrance first. There’s a button/intercom outside. Hit the button, they buzz you in, then walk through the interior hallway and BOOM… suddenly you discover a full blown board game paradise hiding inside the building like a secret nerd speakeasy. And honestly? Totally worth it. Phenomenal board game selection. Shelves packed wall to wall with games. Strategy games, party games, heavy euro-style games, card games… the kind of place where you instantly start convincing yourself you “need” another game for the collection. Only heads up: Most of the games are in Spanish 🇪🇸 So if you’re visiting from the U.S. like us, just know you may need Google Translate or solid board game instincts 😂 Still, absolutely loved the vibe. Super welcoming, fun energy, and exactly the kind of random discovery that makes traveling together memorable. PJ Dad Finds rating: 🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲 hidden side quest unlocked

Google maps took me to opposite side of the block to the ccu. It is a down a big ramp on Colonia. Door was locked (seemed to be a restaurant under a big roof) but someone came to open it. Store was further on the left like a big covered mall below street level.
