Village Sanctuary Comics and Games

Neighborhood comic book store with fun and kind staff. My son is 2 and loves Legos and dice. We have visited twice and there have been folks playing D&D in the back gaming area. Everyone made him feel welcome and talked to him instead of at him. Strangers made him feel at ease and welcome... on two different occasions. Whoever helped set this place up and set the culture and service levels did GREAT! I suggest this place if you have never touched a comic book and want to check out the experience to a long-term gamer looking to get a new scene. And to the parents of children any age... this place is safe and amazing.

Omg I have been going to this comic shop for a while and I would love to say it is amazing. First it is nice and well kept. While most comic shops have a smell and certain gross things, sanctuary has none of that. the first time I came I quote “this place smells nice like a nail salon!”!!!

Great vibe, lots of comic book options. Tons of TTG books and accessories, lots of unique handmade gifts. ❤️

I went here once, and immediately became a regular. The folks that work here are really friendly, and intentional. I had a conversation with one of the guys about Green Lantern once, and weeks (months?) later, I came back in and he not only remembered me, but immediately informed me that he had started reading my suggestions. They strike a great balance of friendly and conversational, but not pushy or over your shoulder. Their selection is pretty solid, especially of Heroic Age DC, and I frequently find little gems I don't expect to see in stores. Their programs for orders and boxes also seem really helpful for regular buyers, and they're always happy to find you what you're looking for. They're owned by a church, but not preachy or overbearing. It mostly just comes across through a general atmosphere of kindness from most of the staff (everyone I've met). Go visit for yourself and see.

So awesome! Nice and very like minded people. I shall return return. O and they are currently stocked with Batman Deadpool joker crossover and variants, get some!
