Video Games Etc

Went here to look at used, older video games and DVDs. Was pleasantly surprised with the selection especially on DVDs. I bought quite a few DVDs and some N64 games. Jackson took time to clean each of my disks and was really friendly. He gave me a great discount for buying so many DVDs. They also had a discount for paying with cash so I saved even more. He also let me look through their new arrivals that they hadn't put out on the floor yet. The used games were priced better than you can find on FB Marketplace or other similar sites. Great stop. Will be returning. Jackson is your guy if you need help or have questions.

Last night the power in the store went out due to a thunderstorm, unfortunately they couldn’t make a purchase so my fiancé and I left leaving my potential purchases inside. I came back today to find out Jesse the store manager had saved my collection of DVDs I wanted to purchase from the night before. I couldn’t be more happy to shop at the Dubuque location. Thank you to the store staff!

Very few issues. Employees are very knowledgeable about the games and if they don't have it, they'll check the other stores and have it shipped over for you. It's also just a safer bet than ordering online, where even the name brand retailers aren't exactly reliable. Overall, Video Games Etc. is the best place to get retro games and used console hardware.

I went in to the store on 4/10/26 The person running the store was very patient with me and helped other customers at the same time. Great service. I have been going to VGE since they opened. Awesome local Business

Perfect store for retro console games. Have visited a few times now and have bought a couple games each time. Their selection is the best in town for retro systems, and likely the best for this part of the state. They seem to list everything around market value which is reasonable.
