I won’t be shopping at Top Dog Games again. As a TCG customer, this store has completely lost my business. One of the biggest frustrations was seeing products removed from the shelf after I expressed interest in purchasing them. Whether intentional or not, it left a very poor impression and made it feel difficult to actually buy the items I was excited about. The selection is also extremely limited. Most of the time there is little to no support for games like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or Naruto. Instead, the shelves are often filled with overpriced Pokémon products, with very few options for players and collectors interested in other trading card games. When the Pokémon 30th Anniversary products finally arrived, I was excited to support the store and bought an item. After that, the remaining products I was interested in were no longer available on the shelf, which was disappointing. What makes this even more frustrating is that there aren’t many hobby options in the valley. I was genuinely looking forward to stopping in on weekends, buying packs, and supporting a local game store. Unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing enough that I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I want to support local shops, but customers need access to products, consistent inventory, and a welcoming experience. Sadly, that hasn’t been my experience here.
