To The Table Board Game Cafe

One of the best games stores in the greater Charlotte area. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they have a huge board game library for casual play and a ton of weekly events. Large community of players for different games and hobbies with a really active Discord. If you play Magic the Gathering and you’re down in Matthews/Stallings, this is the place to be!

This place seriously has the best vibes. It’s a great place to go for Pokemon cards and they have a lot of magic as well. Plus tons of board games The owner is so nice. I’ve been missing out the past 2 years this place has been here. But we found it today and will definitely be back often.

Super friendly people! There was only one time I had a bad experience with a rude employee with longer hair. He seemed frustrated with something and as he was about to ring me up he just walked out. Not super keen on prices for their TCG products knowing they get their stuff from a distributor and pay under retail for it but they flip it and sell it for market or near market. It would be different if they bought in stuff that people come to sell for market and buy it at a percentage like most TCG stores do. The atmosphere is really good for hanging out with friends and playing some good ol table top or TCGs!

This is business is a gem in our community. For $5 you can get a table, borrow one of their board games (see image) and play games with your friends and family. The staff are very welcoming and went out of their way their way to make game recommendations that were a perfect match for our group. The room with the tables was modern and very clean. I am a middle age woman and there was no judgement, it is a space for people of all ages. They have a private room that fits up to 10 people and you can reserve for the very reasonable price of $25. If you like one of the games you borrow they will deduct the $5 table fee from the price of the game if you purchase. I couldn't recommend this place more! (Pro tip: If you want to use the tables on the weekends, plan on going after 5 pm. They often have events during the daytime)

What a fantastic little spot this is locally to the wider Charlotte area. Incredibly accommodating and cozy, has a great selection of games and Magic Product and they have fostered a wonderfully supportive and welcoming community. I went in as a first timer to commander and had a great play experience. The space is cozily lit and comfortable. Pricing is honestly phenomenal compared to other locations within the area. I couldn’t recommend the space more to people interested in getting game time in with friends, loved ones, or even trying to meet new play groups. I will come back many many times.
