THUNDERBIRD GAMES

We stopped here on 12 June 2026, came to Deming just for this store. The guy wasn't so knowledgeable after all (we found out after getting home and going through our purchases), but they had what we all wanted and it was a decent enough experience. Be aware of your surroundings and people that show up trying to sell you their "Pokémon cards" in the parking lot. The group of guys that showed up (while one of us was in the car) was acting so sketchy from the moment they showed up until they left after stopping the other two of us as they were trying to get into our car, to ask if we wanted to buy their stuff.

I Cane in one day in April 2026 to trade a large sum of cards, transaction went well everything was smooth. I had realized I had left some cards there that they wouldn’t buy, (one being a Sylveon masterball from prismatic evolutions) I came back roughly a month later to ask and see if they had known what had happened to it and they said they had the box it was in but there were no cards, after I did some browsing to buy from them like I have in the past I see a Sylveon Masterball listed for the price they told me it was $30 only they wouldn’t buy it from me cause it was (not super popular) so instead in my forgetting about them they took them and lied to me saying someone must’ve stole them. Not integral at all.

This is the best game store in southern New Mexico. I live in Las Cruces, and we have a few game stores that are fine. There is nothing wrong with Duke City, or Geek Shack, but I travel to Deming for FNM because Thunderbird is worth the drive.

I've been here several a time over the past few months and it's been awesome, everyone is so nice to customers and I've bought from them without a problem, if you like pokemon or anything else they do here, then this place is perfect for you!

Best card shop ive ever been to with the nicest most realistic owners. I drive an hour out of my way to come to this shop because of how inviting it is. They also have a great selection of pokemon singles always.
