Signed up for a Lorcana tournament they advertised online. The day before I called to check the details of the event, and was told it would be run as expected. Within 5 minutes of ending the call though it was cancelled out of the blue, and I was given several conflicting reasons for that - that it was a mistake to post it, that it had been run already, that it was for locals only. Given the prizing (which is provided free by Ravensburger to support the community) has a cash value of $2000+ I highly suspect the store simply sold them, and posted the tournament to satisfy the organiser’s requirements. When people signed up, they realised the mistake, cancelled the event, and pocketed the cash. Edit: Firstly, you can set up the event however you want, including not allowing online registration. However, set championships are supposed to not be restricted other than by space as they’re community events to bring new players into your store. I was excited to visit a new store that I normally wouldn’t go to, and possibly even play there again in future had the vibe been good. And there’s no entitlement (or hostility) on my part - I’m simply expressing the fact that I signed up to an event that was seemingly not run because of the store sold the prizing. The whole “well because of this we’re cancelling all Lorcana events” shows either you never cared about your local community, or it never existed in the first place.

I bought from this store and realized later the box was resealed not to mention The owner stands in line at Walmart for hours on their stock day , blocks any kids from getting a pack before he buys all the boxes for $60 then puts him on his store shelf for triple the price. He then drives to canton/ potsdam walmart and does the same. Very unprofessional and dishonest! Don't reply with an innocent comment asking what and when! You already know it's the truth and you're on our security cameras. I should have added that you are in walmart on those days with your ' helpers'. So you are correct it's not just you who gets for your store. If the truth is unprofessional, that speaks volumes itself. Im not up for a debate, just leaving a factual review. Maybe some pictures/ video of you doing so in both stores would be fair? Have a good day as I've shared my review.

perfect for hanging out with friends or bringing the family, especially for collectors and TCG players. They always have great deals, super friendly staff, and fun local shows with awesome specials. Definitely worth checking out!

Great little gaming shop!! Friendly staff, nice environment, great card and RPG selection too!! Definitely recommend!!
