Stopped in as we are avid board game players and thought this was a board game store. Surprise it is not a store but a place where I was able to sit down with my wife and kids and experience all kinds of board games while out and about. We spent a couple hours in here and had an absolute blast! The owner was super nice and the atmosphere is great. Definitely will be back! If you enjoy board games or card games give this place a go, you will not be disappointed!

I've been coming here weekly for a month now. It's a great place to meet new people and just relax with some cozy games. The selection is fantastic, snacks are good, and the proprietor is just a swell guy.

Tried out Side Quest Cafe and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is fun and unique—perfect if you’re into games, chill hangouts, or just something different from the usual coffee spot. The space feels welcoming, and it’s easy to spend a couple hours there without noticing time go by. The drinks and food were solid, and everything came out pretty quick. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially if you’re new and not sure what to try or how things work. Overall, it’s a great place to relax, hang with friends, or even go on a casual date. Definitely one of the more interesting spots in Anchorage—worth checking out.

This place is a lovely joint to play board games, or bring your own and hang out with friends. In a day and age where you can't find somewhere to reasonably hang out with your friend group, this is a gem in the heart of Anchorage. Owner was super friendly and gave great advice and had fun banter while we visited.
