The Poke Post/Minty Gem

Ollie in Minty Gem is incredible! Was able to do a solid vintage trade with him and he was exceptional throughout the entire trade/sale What a nice store too! The displays are clean and well organized. Will 100% be back to do some more future trades and sales!

Came here with one goal in mind. To sell all of my $10 and under cards. Explicitly said that I would NOT piecemail it out, and have them pick and choose all of the higher value cards, as it would make selling of the $1-6 cards far more difficult. The guy inside spent thirty minutes going through, removing several cards. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Until he said that he only pulled out the cards he wanted. Explicitly going against what I had said from the beginning. I don't know if this is some sort of tactic they do, picking and choosing after someone trying to trade in cards says no picking and choosing, and hoping they'll just be too against putting everything back in the binded, or if he just didn't hear me correctly. But either way. If I say I will not accept cherry picking, then tell me you arent interested, and save us both time. And don't get mad if I get mad about you picking and choosing when I said I won't accept that.

Best Pokemon store we saw in the city, great atmosphere, and great customer service. The person who’s name I believe was Sammy helped us out the entire time and was incredibly helpful with finding what we needed. This store had one of the best buyback rates I've seen for singles and great prices on cards. But if you're going for boxes it’s overpriced as they charge market value of the packs inside.

A great experience overall! I’m still a baby collector and I was so happy with getting a hit in the mystery pack! The employee was extremely friendly and just overall an amazing person! I definitely recommend this place out of the majority I’ve gone to!

Stopped by Minty Gems about 30 minutes before closing. The shop itself looked solid, but the experience felt unwelcoming and not very engaging. When we bought Pokémon packs for openings, we were told we probably wouldn’t pull anything, which was discouraging. Their chip reader wasn’t working, and after spending over $500 between the three of us, no small courtesy like a pack of top loaders was offered. Overall, it just didn’t feel very customer-focused.
