The Novel Realm

My first time I went here was back in April. I decided for my mini vacation I was visiting all small bookshops. This was an awesome find. Everyone is so kind, and inviting. They have so many genres to choose from, and they are also a great place to play MTG, D&D etc. And they have an axe throwing place next door too! I have been back twice, and have loved every single time Im in. Greeted warmly, and everyone who works there treats you like you are a long friend coming back to visit. If I could give it more stars I would. 💕

I love that this store is family own! Makes me so happy knowing that supporting my book addiction and my kids Pokemon addiction is going to help pay a families bills and not make some millionaire richer! Everyone is always so nice and very helpful when I go shopping. They offer great recommendations when I’m not sure what book to read next. They also have lots of weekly and monthly events that are a lot of fun. They really have something for everyone!

I found out about this place accidentally because they share the building with Howlers Hatchet House (Axe Throwing) next door you can literally walk through. It's just a small store but I feel like they have a lot of good selections. From books to tabletop games and I happened to have finished reading "Dungeon Crawler Carl" Book 1, and needed to get the 2nd one instead of waiting for delivery. Can you find stuff cheaper online? Sure you can. But I love to support local small businesses when I can cuz do they big companies really need the money? No, the answer is always NO. (If you said yes, may you roll a critical fail, 1, in life) Anyway, you get to see other people possibly into the same things as you. The employees there are always nice and helpful. You don't have to click a bunch of prompts just to try and speak to someone about your damn order! Sorry! Sorry...some past experiences came flooding back. Go here, they even have events! If you're into Magic the Gathering, D&D, table top games, board games, etc. They have stuff for you! You might even make a friend, can you say you can make a friend through the big company?...did you say yes again? Roll the damn die!

Such an adorable, family run small business! Went to an ACOTAR bingo event here which was so fun & they did an amazing job with the theme & making everyone feel so welcome. Love the mix of new & used books and looking forward to attending more events here!

My favorite local bookstore located in Columbus! Great books and great staff! There's also Axe Throwing next door which is super cool! There are also events and game nights!
