Really cool store, lots of different tcg’s to explore and play. Store has been going through a lot of changes inside and Jake does an excellent job working with everyone that comes into the store.

Honest review: ✨ We are Charleston local but visiting from a different state. We’ve looked at different establishments around the area and found some good deals. We are specifically looking for vintage first editions yugioh cards either in binders or bulks. Guy who’s at the store, I felt like he overly charged us $50 on some measly number of cards that are not in good condition. He said he was waiting on the owner’s opinion how much he should charge us or he would look at the tcg website how much each cards cost. but I guess he didn’t wait for his response since he didn’t want us to wait. But we were already waiting already since one of the guy who plays the Gundam card game was helping me build my starter deck while multi tasking on his digimon tourney. My thinking be charged us a dollar a piece for the cards which didn’t sit right with me and my partner at all. The cards were less than a small square box full, probably less than 20-25% of the long boxes. When we went to Hawaii back in December for the marathon run, we scored a lot of cards my partner was looking for. We brought home 7 long boxes and 3 medium sized long boxes all for 70$. That Establishment charged us 10c a card in the bulks since no one goes for this set of bulks or edition. Similar to our home city in Memphis, couple of card stores would charge 5-10c a card in the bulk boxes regardless of the condition it is in. Really disappointed.

Sometimes when you enter a game store it can feel a bit unwelcoming. I didn’t feel that way at all here, Jake was very helpful and not pushy at all. He was willing to answer any questions and was very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning next time I am in town.

Ok.. this place is the comfy kind of game store... the kind you can walk in and feel no pressure.. It's like when you played in your basement or garage except you can buy stuff there too.. plenty of full size tables, no charge to stay and play and bunches of players for many different war games.. 40k, aos, battletech, and more.. they do on-site and off site 3d printing and mdf burning too.. Jake and Jimmy are ok too :) ... and if they don't have it , they can order it .I have been a customer and player here from almost day 1, and that is because they treat their customers like friends , not a wallet..

I absolutely love hanging out and gaming here! Jimmy and Jake are honestly phenomenal and are building up the Wargaming community in North Charleston. They host frequent events and RTT's through the BCP app for us local gamers to participate in and by doing so building our local competive community! So far I love meeting new people that are diving into the hobby for the first time and the old veterans of the game here at Gamersguild! Jimmy and Jake yall keep up with what yall do best, keep building our community and we are forever appreciative of your efforts.
