The Game Vault

Great local place to get your geek on. Friendly staff and loads of tabletop options.

I wish them the best. They have weird storefront hours and a crazy membership package. I drove 15min when I was told there was a new game store in OS and they were not open during my lunch break... I think this is trying to be more of a hangout than a store? Ill update when I can finally get over there when they are open...

We were only in town for one more night and our local Saybrook friend took us to check out their new Game/TCG store in town. What we expected to be a quick rummage through their stock, turned out to be a three hour adventure within itself! The owner and workers took time to explain their operation, their memberships and even let us build and paint our own miniatures! What a breath of fresh air. Their main mission is community and that's exactly what we witnessed here. We listened as the owner took time to explain board games to younger kids, the workers helped my fiance and friend pick the best colors for their miniatures, and everyone was so excited when new faces came through their doors. If I was a local, this is where I would put my money and time! These dudes absolutely deserve it.

NEW GAME STORE IN CT? LET'S GOOO! Stopped by The Game Vault for their grand opening and had an AMAZING time. The place looks awesome, and you can tell a lot of hard work went into making it a fun spot for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it was clear they were genuinely excited to share the experience with the community. Whether you're a serious gamer or just looking for something fun to do with friends or family, there's something here for everyone. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what they do next. Congrats on a successful grand opening!!!

Knowledgeable and welcoming staff. Excellent place for casual and experienced players to play pretty much any kind of board and card game.
