The Game Hub & Comic Bug

Clean and organized comic book shop. Didn't find what I was looking for but still found a graphic novel I wanted. They also sell collectibles, posters, prints and such. Other side deals in cards and they do have game nights. Their schedule is posted there.

Solid shop, have been a customer for over 15 years. Great selection of new books and back issues. Would give five stars but there is an employee that works here that is the epitome of a "comic book guy". Every time I call with a question, I get an annoyed response. Once I asked if I could add a title to my pull list and they told me "we get what we get and you'll just need to come in to see if we have it" so now I just order it directly from the publisher. The rest of the staff is cool, so don't let this person bum out your experience. I keep coming back but I do get my books elsewhere when this person gives me an attitude.

5 Star Experience! Travelled from OK to visit LA and had to stop, met the owner is awesome, he and his staff were kind, funny, and very helpful ... went for the comics, ended up staying for an hour or two gaming, helped out by the amazing Nick and June, such a fun experience, thanks guys!! come see us in OK!

Best prices for all kinds of trading cards — including and especially Pokemon. They offer slabs, sealed product, and singles for the cheapest prices in LA. I check in every few weeks to pick up hard-to-find 151 foils (trainer/supporter cards and those annoying uncommons like Arcanine, Scyther and Metapod) for 50 cents each. Caleb and Michael are especially friendly, transparent, and helpful. In sum: A “secret” find that’s so good — affordable prices, reliable staff, and a range of out-of-print product available (sealed!) — you almost *don’t* want to tell your friends.

The Baseline: For a retail shopping experience, quality merchandise must be provided, a quality environment must be established, and the items need to relevant to the store. Service: Great service here at the Comic Bug to help you find a comic book you may be looking to find. It is nice to have a local friendly comic store to help you find old past issues of a comic line or help you find a new title you may enjoy. Selection: Comics are a finicky priced item depending on the collectibility of the line. My first printing of the entire Batman Beyond line that I paid only a few bucks for is worth a lot more today (especially because I got them graded). The selection here is for new titles and back issues are in the more modern line of comics. Anything silver age or earlier is not going to be in the bins. Value: Comics are a value that you find them or the collectors market finds them. You will be paying cover price plus tax for all new titles.
