Bought a few things here and the prices are always fair. I try to stop by once a week to see if I can find any gems. About 50% of the time I walk out with something I want at a good deal. Employees are very nice and helpful. Will be coming back

I've been coming here for a few months now to buy cards and get a good feel of the store. Note, whatever the price of an item is on the secondary market, they match it and sometimes exceed it. Even brand new items you and I know they didn't pay above wholesale price is marked up to match ebay, tcg, etc. So dont expect to walk in day 1 of a new ETB release and pick it up at normal price. Secondly, they adjust prices regularly. A card you see displayed at $16 one week, you may see the same card labeled $25+ the next week because they check online prices and match those. (Prices never go down though). They dont allow you to preorder boxes, im sure its because they dont want you knowing how much they pay for items and what they sell them for. And the store is 60-70% pokemon cards. So if you are looking for singles from any other tcg (besides sports) You're out of luck. Staff is great, very knowledgeable and helpful. You cant buy more than 1 box of the same kind a day, (good to limit scalping), but at these prices, they arent scalping you, but its not exactly honest either. Also, they dont allow cameras in their store, and I can only speculate because they don't want it known how much they are asking for certain items. 3/5 stars seems fair.

Eric (the owner) is a good dude. I have had a great experience breaking with The Card Bar and Bulldogsportscards online. I live in another state and my packages always arrive fast and with excellent packaging.

Company won’t let you pull cards out of top loaders or penny sleeves. Only company I’ve been to that doesn’t let you pull cards out of a top loader or penny sleeves. Why buy a card if you can’t inspect to see what you’re buying. Cards are also over priced and won’t match tcg price on recent sold. While some store employees are helpful, others are rude to the customers and I walked out based on how I was treated. better TCG shops to choose from in Fresno. — Editing to add context to the card bar owner who left a poor comment in return. Clearly if this is how they treat customers imagine what they would say about you once you leave the shop. Also confirms the rudeness I experience while there (they have edited the review to share a different experience. Attached is a picture of their initial comment that I screenshot. )

Cool vibes and nice workers. Shop was stocked on pretty much everything. Focus seemed to be sports cards, one piece, and Pokémon but had they even had smaller card games like lorcana and yugioh.
