An incredibly welcoming store with a robust collection of cards for its age. Georgette is knowledgable and generous. And there’s a strong cohort of Magic players who play draft and pauper if those are formats you’re looking for.

Great selection of card and board games, including MTG. But you stay because the staff makes you feel welcomed. You will either find or make a community here and that’s what will keep you coming back. And did I mention how awesomely friendly the staff is? They will always work to remember who you are, follow up with your messages on discord or on your next visit, they got jokes, and bake for events. Let’s go! Where? Captain's Corner is truly the third place so many people are missing in their lives. Georgette the owner is a class act who runs the shop like her house and treats her customers like family. I don't play TCG's as much as other's but still feel inclined to show up and play board games every other week. There is a good selection of board games to play, card packs, gear, and even refreshments. Events are held all the time and there is a discord to stay updated with them as well as to keep up with the community as a whole. Definitely check the place out!

This is the first card store I've ever been to were from the moment you walk in, you're treated like an old friend and not just a customer. I went in for the first time a little while after they opened and Georgette, the owner, was super nice and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I came back a month later, not expecting much, but she remembered who I was and the things we talked about last time I was there. Now, it's my favorite place to come and hang out, along with playing some dope TTRPGs This place has really good card selections (MTG, Pokemon, Lorcana, etc), a cool vibe, tons of board games you can play in house, and events such as rpg nights playing 10 Candles, Classic D&D, Savage Worlds (and more to come hopefully in the future) and tournaments for MTG and tons of other cool stuff If I could rate this place a 1000/10 I would because I love the vibe, I love hanging out with everyone there, and it really does feel like a home away from home

Captains corner is an awesome Local game store. They have a great selection of card and boards games. The first time I attended an event there was for a Magic: the gathering Avatar draft the community there was very welcoming . I recommend checking them out. -Reigning Draft Champion
