As for my experience on shopping for Pokemon here multiple times, their restocks for singles are average. No bulk you can go through. No day one MSRP for set launches. Only reason I stop by is to get a hold of new pokemon releases and is logistically the closest LGS for me. One of the employees with the glasses and beard has a unwelcoming vibe to be honest. Strictly secondary market pricing. Last year during the week phantasmal flames came out, they were selling booster boxes at $280, ETBs at $120, booster bundles at $60. Recently, I went back the other week and wanted to get some loose ascended heroes packs. They were selling at $16 per pack. This location is a little pricey on sealed but they have a good amount when it comes to launch week. Lastly, I got to be honest, the place can use some type of auto air freshener system. Place smells like body odor especially during tournaments.

One of the best places in the Tinley Park area for the gaming community to buy, trade, and play. They have several games to meet everyone's needs. More importantly the owners and crew take care of their customers and hold so many game days with different games. Definitely a place to check out.

Big problem with fake cards. Brought up a card that I had purchased from them and wanted to check its authenticity. The bored shopkeep thought it was fake and called back his boss. He came back and immediately thought it was fake as well. They say they can do nothing about it as I could easily have just swapped cards. Fair point, but not the truth. When checking its authenticity the shopkeep let his frustrations be known about one employee always buying fake cards and how they only have one jewelers loupe at a different location. The boss made it clear that these things happen sometimes and it's just he said vs she said. He also made it clear that he would not be doing anything to make it right. Buyer Beware ***Responding to Owner’s response*** Absolutely bought the card from your shop. Below are pictures I took the day of sale to show off my pick ups to my friends. March 21, 2024. I discussed how I had bought them while visiting my parent’s house before moving out of state which accounts for the time between purchase and follow up. I’m no liar, but I was sold a fake Mox.

Similar to other reviews, I have had polar opposite experiences here, based solely upon which staff member is working. I don’t know his name, but the man with long hair is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, he is everyone’s friend there it feels like. Genuinely good, cool person. I came in by myself and he chatted with me for a good 30 minutes. However a few days later I came in and had a very different experience. The man with long hair was gone, replaced by a guy that ignored me, I wanted to purchase cards and sat around waiting for nearly 30 minutes before giving up. I’ve only seen this guy once, and hopefully won’t again. Aside from that, the people that come here are all very nice, from my experience. This shop has a lot of yu-gi-oh players, more than any other in the area that I know of.

I brought my little sister to this card shop because we were excited to buy some cards, but the experience was really disappointing. The person behind the counter mostly ignored us. When I asked a simple question about the cards on display, he answered it, but then went back to a conversation that made us feel like we were being mocked for wanting to buy cards. The shop seemed to have a great selection, and we were genuinely ready to make a purchase, but the atmosphere felt unwelcoming enough that we decided not to. I hope they treat future customers more respectfully, because good customer service would make a big difference here.
