First off when I walked in there was someone ASLEEP on one of the tables…I don’t know if they were a worker or a homeless person but that was a very very bad look when you first walk in. I’ve never seen something like that in a store and the image that leaves with customers walking by and possibly trying to buy something is absolutely terrible… after walking around a bit by myself and looking in the cases there are practically no products..It looks like they might be trying to be a card shop and a gaming lounge however they sadly did both terribly. Don’t even worry about buying cards here because they have close to none. Not even singles in a case. The gaming lounge part is not good to say the least. Besides the person asleep on the table, they have off brand uncomfortable chairs, no themes or decorations and the tables looked like they were just put out from a garage sale. The whole atmosphere feels extremely uncomfortable and awkward. NOT a place for kids, MAYBE teenagers who don’t look at everything I’m seeing. This place needs some serious work and products. If you want to play games with your friends just go to their house. At least there you won’t see a random guy asleep on a table. I can only rate this based on what I saw and how the store was at the time I visited. I can’t rate this on the potential it may have in the future. I hope they can get their stuff together so the rating will change but for now this place is a hard pass.

My son and his father just left this place and are completely upset at the treatment they received. My son has Autism and has an interest in games he loves hearing about them. He waited his turn to ask a staff member questions about a game. The staff member proceeds to explain it to his dad who has no interest and tries to hint that my son wants to hear what he has to say. But instead has an attitude as if he had better things to do. Maybe learn to be kinder to people he's only 12 an attitude towards a child is uncalled for.

my wife and i went to the katy mills mall and to kill time i came across the tcgu gaming cafe. they were the most friendly staff and have a great selection of cards and free games to play. definitely my new local card shop

Had two Nintendo switch 2s, an Xbox series x, and a PS5 and it was for free. He also had Yu-gi-ho cards and the employee was very nice

I came in a few times and it was pretty cool but when I want in alone I felt almost threatened by the big dude. The big dude made me feel very uncomfortable and scared, asking me about things I don't know about things I don't know about like he was sizing me up. I don't feel comfortable there at all
