Another stop on our family Pokémon card adventure, and even though we struck out on finding cards, this place was an absolute win. Walking into Gods & Monsters feels like stepping through a portal into every comic book and superhero universe at once. Giant life-size characters, incredible displays, superheroes everywhere, and enough collectibles to keep you wandering for hours. My grandson's eyes lit up the second he saw the massive Hulk and all the larger-than-life figures throughout the store. From Deadpool to Stormtroopers, comic books to collectibles, this place is packed wall to wall with geek culture goodness. The front entrance alone is worth the visit. What really made the experience special was the staff. Super friendly, incredibly helpful, and even though they didn't have the Pokémon cards we were hunting for, they took the time to recommend other places where we might find them. That's customer service that goes above and beyond. As someone who's traveled all 48 states and stopped in more stores than I can count, I love places that create memories, not just transactions. This was one of those places. ROBOACE VERDICT:🦸 Incredible atmosphere📚 Tons of comics and collectibles🗿 Amazing life-size displays and characters👥 Fantastic staff and customer service🎮 A must-stop for comic, superhero, and pop culture fans visiting Orlando. The Pokémon hunt continues, but this stop became something even better... another memory made with my grandson. Those giant superheroes may have stolen the show this time. Thumbs up and major kudos to the entire team at Gods & Monsters. We'll definitely be back.

This place is awesome. The only thing they need is to open a shop in my local area so I could come back more often. The staff was friendly and helpful. If comics/anime or retro toys are your thing then you won't be disappointed here.

Stopped in here for pokemon cards with my kids and found out they don't have any singles available but they did have sealed boxes for sale. Their prices were way under market price and the staff were super welcoming. Ended up getting saint Saiyan figures instead. Store is super clean and extremely organized. Highly recommend even just to take a picture with the incredible hulk.

If you are looking for anything related to Comics (new and old) as you visit Universal Studios, take a short drive to this store. Everything is very well organized, easy visibility. Prices are as expected in a Retail Marvel Store. Don't forget to take a couple of photos with Darth Vader and the Incredible Hulk. It does have a Bar at the end (must be 21), since I did not visit the bar, can't comment about it...did take a photo (it looks great!). The store is located in a small commercial mall, easy access.

We needed a costume for Megacon and ended up at Gods and Monsters, what a fun little spot! Parking was easy and plentiful, and the store is tucked inside a cute covered plaza. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. While we wish they sold more masks and costume accessories, we were pleasantly surprised by how many cool items they did have. The store is very clean and well-organized. Highlights included the giant Gremlins and Pokémon vending machine, though sadly it was out of order, it was still fun to see! We also noticed a neat speakeasy out back that we definitely want to check out next time. Overall, this is a great spot for any nerd, collector, or cosplayer. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back!
