Sylvan Factory

I love how friendly and inclusive this game shop is. I frequent it for pokemon card games and there are plenty of other events through the week. They have some demo games you can play in the back where the open play area is, and they have games available to view in the front. They have snacks available for when you have long play sessions, too!

This was a really cool store, they had a great collection of board games and collectibles (Trading Card Games). Their Pokemon selection was smaller than expected, but we left with 2 board games I've wanted so it was still a fun visit for us! They also sold the kids a few pokemon packs set aside for kids, which was such a nice thing in this crazy market!

My fiance and I are from out of town and I was VERY nervous about doing a casual commander night with a group of people i didn't know. To my surprise it was the BEST commander night ive ever had! Everyone was so welcoming and the vibe was so chill and fun. We played with someone who works there named Maddy and she was so so sweet and was always willing to explain things when needed and even shared her decks! Def going to be a regular stop when we are in town! Keep doing what you are doing because it is working!!

My fiance surprised me by having the Sylvan Factory rented for a private game night to celebrate my birthday. He arranged the night with Julie from Sylvan Factory & discussed suggestions for the games prior that would be good for our group size and the ages for my younger nephews. Julie was amazing! She described the games prior and let people break off into groups based on what sounded fun to them. We had plenty of time to play multiple games and switch teams for who we played with. Julie set up the games and explained the instructions taking away the need for us to go through all the instructions and just let us enjoy playing new games. We had so much fun, a lot of us bought our favorite games and we played them throughout the off time between my birthday and Christmas. Everyone was still talking about how much fun it was days later at Christmas when we broke out the board games again. It's not easy finding new things to do in the winter to celebrate, but this was really fun for all ages! I would definitely recommend considering it for your own events!

This place is really great! I played here for the first time and have a lot of fun and a pre release event. There is plenty of space and everyone is very friendly. You can tell the manager takes his time and make sure that everyone is having a great time here it is very casual. I highly recommended.
