I saw erins review and visited anyways. I can only agree that the staff was not very welcoming. Not a single one seemed to want to be there. One of them even nearly walked into me while i looked at a case and said “watch out guys” like it was my fault somehow. Im giving a good review however based on the content and products they offer. I really enjoyed their selection and spent quite a bit

I visited this shop hoping to buy Pokémon cards with my family, but we left feeling incredibly unwelcome. From being followed around the store to the hostile reaction I received when asking to use the restroom, the atmosphere felt racially motivated and uncomfortable. It is clear that diversity is not valued here. We won't be returning to a business that relies on microaggressions instead of basic customer service.

We love stopping through the game shops whenever traveling and this one honestly blew even ones in the Bay Area out of the water. Shop had super friendly staff and apparently has some really big areas in the back for playing all sorts of games. If you're in the area, highly recommend making this a place to visit and we definitely will be again next time we are up north.

Sword & Board is the absolute best spot for all of your tabletop gaming, TCG, and comic book needs. The staff is always willing to answer questions and help guests of all ages to have fun with their game of choice. They host regular tournaments and events that allow people in the community to connect with others that have similar interests. It’s a great place!

Stopping into Sword and Board, you're immediately struck by the clean and well organized shop from and interior. The shop has a very nice layout and uses the space it has well. It was easy to browse and find interesting things, and get an idea of the item for sale at the shop. I was able to find a couple board games that are not usually offered in most shops, and they also have all the of standard games that you'd expect to find. The staff were pretty friendly, and had a casual attitude. It seemed like they enjoyed working here and had fun, and were not overbearing or tryin to sell me things. Overall the shop is in a great location, has a wide variety of games, and offers pretty fair prices!
