Steam Mountain Games

I had a feeling my fellow nerds were nearby and I’m so glad I found them! Well, the mall was closed. The rear door for this business was still open and got me into the back playing room. And then walked into the shop and was overjoyed to see so many people playing magic the gathering there. They have tons of board games and card games and all the things that you need for your minis The clerk of the counter was super kind and helped me pick out a mystery dice set that ended up being a cute sherbet set. I got a really cool Pokémon cards sticker too and they have tons of cool Pokémon cards for sale as well they have tons of events. I highly recommend checking them out.

Great little store. Huge collection of singles and old booster packs for MTG. Found a Kindred Discovery for a fraction the usual market price. Friendly owner and staff. Always stop by when down from Canada.

Incompetent workers: called to ask what time they'd be open on Memorial Day and then arrived that day to find them closed. Maybe hire people who know your own store's schedule. Edit because the owners are being disingenuous in their reply: I called last week to ask what their hours on Memorial Day would be, if they were open at all, and was told their normal hours over the phone. I planned my day around this and an extra 30 minute drive. Only to arrive and find them closed when I was told they'd be open and forced to drive on to keep schedule with a very disappointed kid. If they weren't sure or might change what time they'd be open, they should have said so instead. And not having this kind of information is a basic measure of incompetence. But it seems the owners would rather be snarky and pretend I think people should never get holidays off. (One wonders how I am off today?) Shameful.

Amazing store. They have a great selection of warhammer figures, paints, and supplies. They also have tons of board games, and other more niche items. They host events almost every day, and always weekly. Come to paint day the last sunday of every month!

Definitely my favorite card shop in town! I also love their variety of table top games! Staff is always incredibly attentive and kind! Best stock of MTG cards around the valley prices are extremely fair. Definitely check them out! I've also had some amazing pulls come from this shop too!
