Simsbury Cards and Comics

The owner is very knowledgeable. Every theme you can think of in the card and comic world and game boards should be in there. If I had 10k I would buy all of my childhood interests and hold on to them for my kids. Really nice collection and assortment of interest for all ages.

After asking about the price on a TCG product originally posted on their website for $75, they literally changed the price while we were in the shop to $135 ("market price"). Do not support that sort of anti-consumer behavior. Never setting foot in this place again.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff - this place always has something for me when other places are bone dry. Pokemon cards, MTG, Series 1, you name it; and the prices always come in below market.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! They know their stuff! They were able to help me find a Wolverine and hulk issue where they are fight each other and now it completes my display in my personal collection. 10/10 would visit again and pick up more comics!

As an extremely socially awkward (as I imagine is common in the trading card community) individual, especially when going to new small stores, I was greeted with a friendly hello from the owners and browsed the store without any pressure. Once I knew what I wanted the owner was happy to help! They had exactly what I was looking for and more for trading cards. Lots of individual pokemon decks at great prices as well as ETBs at MSRP. I didn't have a chance to check out their TOPPS selection as I was on a time crunch, but I'm sure it was also great. 5/5, will spend way too much money there in the future.
