This was the first time in the shop. I had heard about Shep’s and came from out of state. It didn’t disappoint. They had the most vintage cards I have seen in a long time and a large variety as well. It was very evident that it is family owned and operated. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel at home. Pricing was reasonable. I will be making another trip to Shep’s soon.

The best card store my son and I have ever been to. A real gem for all collectors. Very family oriented. Do yourself a favor if you’re in the Nashville area and check out Shep’s! Awesome selection of sports and Pokemon sealed wax, singles, signed memorabilia, etc.

Seeing the in’s and out’s of how Shep’s operates, I could not recommend a local hobby shop more than Shep’s Cards & Collectibles! Young, old, new to the hobby or seasoned veteran, Shep’s makes everyone feel valued and a part of the hobby. They truly live out their #1 rule - Collect what you enjoy and have fun! If you are looking for a shop that feels like more than just a transaction, I guarantee you will find it at Shep’s!

Easily one of the best in the business. Kind and genuine, great for an individual or the whole family. Prices are market and below and service is above and beyond. Worth a trip or a few!

The shop had plenty of selection for pokemon cards and a good amount that I would have liked to trade for. But the boy at the counter was rude and pushy. I was trying to trade some duplicates, but once he saw my collection, he immediately kept hounding me to sell, even though I stated (multiple times) I wasn't interested in selling. I had a small stack of common/uncommon pulled and eyes on several in the case I was interested in. He made me feel like there was no interest in trades or even looking at other cards in my collection. He saw 1 highly sought after card I had and that was it. At that point, I felt like even if we traded, I would have gotten a shoddy deal anyway. I understand he was probably used to kid and parent customers, but when a potential customer thats been collecting for 30 years doesn't want to part with parts of their collection, and tells you that, maybe dont be so disrespectful and clueless. I went to a different card shop, made trades, and actually spent $100 I didn't plan on, and will continue going there instead. No one should ever be pressured into something they state they don't want to do. Please teach your associates how to operate with respect and regard for other people.
