SCG Hobby North Huntingdon

Shame that the only local card store has an insanely rude and unprofessional store manager. Was talked to like a subhuman for opening packs in store after I purchased them. Owners should really look into this as it looks to be an ongoing issue. Love to support local but there is only one welcoming person that works there. Do better.

This place is amazing I'm so glad I came here and the staff were freaking nice and cool, not to mention their first Pokemon pre-release was a success, at first i was overwhelmed by how many people were in attendance, but quickly felt comfortable how nice and polite everyone was, even the little kids, i had a great time and not knly that but this place also sells Yu-Gi-Oh! and Sports cards, which are my other 2 hobbies that I collect on top of Pokemon! I can't wait to back here again soon!

First time shopping at SCG Hobby, I must say I really enjoyed this store and was very impressed! They got two of my favorite things Legos and Sport cards! My aunt got the Legos and I got sport cards!! Definitely will be back in the future! Keep up the great work at SCG !!

I went to SCG yesterday after work to pick up a couple boxes of Topps Chrome EPL that came out last week. When I went into the store I told Jonathan and Ashley how excited I was for the product and looking forward to opening it. I asked for two boxes, checked out, and went home. As I opened the first box and pulled the first pack out I noticed they sold me Topps EPL Flagship at $295 a box. I was sick. That is a $140 paper product I never would have purchased at that price. UCC Flagship is on their shelf for $145, why is the Premier League version double the cost? I went back about an hour later with my unopened box and receipt and was told all card sales were final. I was then told they didn't even have the product I asked for in stock, as the shipment was weeks late. I didn't even want a refund, I just wanted to get a different product, still spending the money. I get that they don't want people weighing boxes and such, so I just said ok and left. I am the only person who buys soccer cards in that store. Ultimately, it's on me for trusting people and not verifying before I let them ring it up, but you do not get to touch the product until after it's in a bag. As of today, they likely will never sell another box of soccer because I refuse to patronize a business who's employees aren't educated on their stock and one who refuses to even attempt to correct a problem for a customer who spends 5 figures per year in their location. Buyers beware. My experience will be shared with every customer and dealer I come in contact with in the Western PA card show circuit. If you run a hobby shop, educate your employees on the products they sell.

Will shop here occasionally. I like to browse. They have a ton of Legos, Like tons and a good selection of board games and related products. Good selection of Warhammer products. I prefer Army Painter, but I also know how Games Workshop works when it comes to carrying product, so not a big deal. I know very little CCG's and other card type products. They seem to have a lot. I cannot really speak to this though. Prices are average. I don't feel like I am getting a bad deal. You can never beat Amazon, but I prefer to shop local. So will continue to support them when I am over that way.
