This is my go-to comic book store! They have a large variety of comics, a great setup, and the store feels like the ultimate comicbook store! The owner is super kind and I always have a great conversatiom with him and/or sometimes him and his daughter. His daughter makes really cool sticker designs! My wife was super happy with the Appa sticker designed by her! I also get new incoming comics from this store. I drive an hour there and an hour back, because this is my favorite store in the area. The comics have always come in on time and are available for me on the day of the release. Since Im a HUGE sonic fan, he occasionally will let me know if anything that he thinks might peak my interest comes around. Everytime that I go into this store I also always end up finding an extra comic or two that I wasnt expecting to ever find. If you havent already, please check it out!

Fantastic store! Recently started hosting small MTG events and has a comfortable playing environment. Owner is a flexible and fair about prices. Honored a preorder agreement despite online demand driving the prices far above what the product was worth on release. 100% recommend visiting and doing business with this shop. Also it is just a very cool shop!

Great family-owned store—clean, welcoming, and well organized. It’s well worth the trip and conveniently close to Eugene. I was shopping for the comic collector in my life, and this store made it easy to find some wonderful gifts. They have an excellent selection of back issues, from key books to affordable fillers, all neatly organized and easy to browse. There’s also a great variety of trade paperbacks, cards, toys, and other collectibles. I especially enjoyed looking through the impressive high-end books in the glass display case. One thoughtful touch was having chairs available for non-collectors to relax while you browse through the bins. The customer service was exceptional. They went above and beyond by putting my comics in new boards and bags, carefully wrapping everything, and even offering me a place to wrap my last-minute gifts. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. It’s always a pleasure to support a family-owned local business, and I’ll definitely be back.

i happened to pop in for the first time while a lot of their inventory was out of town for a convention, but i still found several great comics in what was there for the weekends! the comics i saw seemed very fairly priced. picked up a handful of the Secret Defenders and Darkhawk for $2 each. excited to go again once they're back! edit: returned after they were back and was so impressed by the stock! i was able to pick up a What-If i was hunting for and an Ant-Man and The Wasp #1. the little bin of free heroclix characters was so cool too! i took Kingpin. excited to go back in the future! edit 2, 2/07/26: the new physical location for savage comics is so nice! there are so many labeled boxes of comics to go through, as well as a handful of miscellaneous marvel shortboxes to look through. more room for collectibles than the last location!! the seating area is nice as well, my grandmother with a bad knee was with me and enjoyed having a place to rest while i looked :) i have met the owner a few times and he has always been a super pleasant guy. make sure to check it out if you're in the area!!!

Great store, clean and pleasant. Excellent back issue inventory (both keys and filler), well organized. Other collectibles as well (TPBs, cards, toys). If you're driving OR99 with your family, there are some very comfy chairs for non-collectors to relax in while you go through the bins. Some big books in the glass display case too!
