Richmond Comix Inc

I live close to this store and have always wondered about it, I decided to stop in and I was greeted by the friendliest manager of any comic shop I’ve been in. The shop is awesome with a huge selection. Any questions I had or comics I happen to be looking for, was taken care of immediately. The service alone will bring me back again, I can’t wait to bring my daughter to this little gem!

An excellent little place! They've got a really wide variety of comics, figures, and Manga options to fit most tastes. They have anything from small children's reading to MA. And if they don't have it, they can get their hands on it! The service is top notch, friendly and helpful. The space is easy to navigate. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good place to fill the comic itch! Five stars!

A favorite pastime is going to comic stores in other states. Longtime seeker of silver age back issues, odd independents, and old horror: this store did not dissapoint! Wide selection, good atmosphere, and a mom n pop ran by an absolutely adoring and friendly family. Very helpful and talkative, we loved this place. We will be back on the next trip!

I haven’t been to a comic book shop in YEARS. If you’re looking for an authentic comic book store experience, look no further. This truly is a one-stop shop for old-school comics, new releases, manga, and more. I came in looking for Absolute Batman, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The lady at the front counter gave me a fantastic rundown of what the comic is about and explained what DC Comics is doing with the Absolute line. Another customer enthusiastically joined the conversation, and before long the entire store was buzzing with the kind of excitement and passion that makes comic book culture so special. As someone who just moved to the area, this was exactly the kind of welcoming community I was hoping to find. I learned that the shop is run by a father and daughter, and they took the time to introduce themselves and share the story of their years selling comics in Richmond. After visiting several other shops and leaving disappointed, finding Richmond Comix felt like discovering a true gem. The atmosphere, knowledge, and sense of community are second to none. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. What a marvelous experience, thank you. 6/5 stars

This is THE best comic store in the Richmond area. Staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help you find something, answer questions or just talk! Want to give a special shoutout to Tess who really makes the whole store feel special. She gave me a birthday discount when I casually mentioned my wife were on a date to celebrate and is also very helpful when I order specific variants. Richmonders should feel lucky that we have a store this nice available!
