Rainers TCG Shop

Pros: 1. singles were priced exactly TCG market, sometimes under market, sometimes over market (but willing to lower to market price) 2. Even with a and how crowded it gets in the shop, its extremely clean and smells fantastic. The dog is an added bonus if you like cuteness lol 3. Huge, absolute huge selection of pokemon. You will walk out with a card you want, i guarantee it. Cons: 1. Prices of sealed products are insanely high. I get it, scalpers would buy inventory up in seconds if it was lower but the other local card shop in Kokomo was doing it in a way that scalpers cant have fun and people who want products to rip feel good about buying at the price they were selling them at. $25 for ascended heroes tins (4 packs of ascended heroes) is a crazy good deal but the shop in kokomo limits to 2 sealed per buying customer which i think works well. Rainers sells ascended heroes packs at $16 a pop, crazy uptick in price unfortunately. I think sealed products should be lower and a limit should be set for how many each customer should buy. That would give Rainers top spot in my opinion. Overall: Rainers is the perfect place to find singles and all your collecting needs. Its extremely clean, staff is really knowledgable and friendly, and they make the buying experience easy. I just wish the sealed products were more attainable for people like me that dont have a lot of money and want to rip packs 4 stars out of 5 😁

Rainer's is a spot that I love to visit. We drive all the way from Danville, IL pretty regularly to Lafayette to visit all our favorite card shops, and Rainer's is right at the top of the list. Great selection, good prices, friendly staff and management, just a really chill place to come browse a highly curated collection of Pokemon and Magic products. Probably the best spot around for foreign language cards if there is an art you love but can't afford the English version. Plus - for some reason people seem to get lucky ripping packs in this store, every time we go somebody is pulling an SIR or gold card! We love Rainer's!

Was in there yesterday. Bought a Shining Fates box that looked brand new but was in fact resealed and so were the packs. On top of that disappointment, I paid well over market, my fault a should've checked the pricing of the box. On top of that all the cards I bought were from $2 to $5 over market as well. Lost about $30 - $40 total over what I should've paid. Not even going to mention the trade in or sell value which is so unbelievably unfair to the person selling to the shop which is nothing I have seen in this hobby for the 10 years ive been collecting. I will say the shop is very nicely laid out and it has a pretty good selection and variety. However, all of it is over market price.

One of the best shops in town, especially if you are into Pokemon’, MTG, or anything in the TCG world. Melvin, Kayla, Elizabeth and the entire Rainer’s team are so nice and knowledgeable you would be crazy to go anywhere else!
