Pittsburgh Pulls LLC

Hands down my favorite card shop in the area. Not only is the owner and his staff awesome, they have a huge selection that’s not crazy priced for Pokémon. Their binders are new almost every two weeks and they trade and buy. If I was gonna recommend any place for Pokemon this is it. They’re great with kid collectors too and I really appreciate them keeping the vibe of it’s about the hobby. 10/10 great place! They were recommended to me through word of mouth and I’m spreading the word!! Must stop shop!!

They advertise they Buy Sell and Trade. I've tried my luck 3 times at this shop and each time has been the same experience I walk in the employee will look at you and not say a word, so I engage the conversation asking them how they are doing and if they are buying cards that day, I am told NO then I ask if I find something I like if they would trade and am told NO again without them even opening my binder and looking at what I had to offer. As a card shop how do you advertise you buy sell and trade when you only sell? 3 different times I tried to go and sell and each time no employee even wants to look. This business should have never opened a physical location and just kept to selling their items on eBay.

Easily the best card shop I’ve been to so far. One thing I absolutely HATE is when card shops make you search on a tablet for specific singles rather than letting you flip through them (though I understand why). Pittsburgh Pulls has all of their singles top loaded and in binders or bins to flip through. As someone that focuses on artworks I like rather than “investment” potential or mastersetting, it’s ideal. Never change this!! Also have gotten some pretty decent deals on singles and packs slightly under market value. All the workers are chill too.

The owner is a great dude and is very knowledgeable and fun to bs with about the card hobby. Lots of reasonably priced singles and sealed products (Pokémon and sports). I made a mistake about a price and he was cool about it and explained why it was priced as such. Definitely one of the best card shops in the city.

Went in today while browsing around just cause I’ve never been inside before. The girl at the counter was super nice, especially since I barely have any knowledge of Pokemon cards and the different packs and pull rates. Came out with a card of my favorite little guy and an enjoyable experience! Will definitely be back!
