Piland’s Cards and Games

I took my 9 year old daughters here for the first time over the weekend. They just recently got into collecting Pokémon cards. One of them loves all of the Misty cards and asked the owner if she had any unified minds packs. She straight up laughed at her and said “no those are like $100”. My daughter went home and cried about it later and said she felt stupid for asking. Certainly not the way to treat children new to the hobby. Safe to say we will not be returning

Extremely knowledgeable staff and very friendly as well as the shop giving a very friendly vibe I went there today and I think more people should. I also wasn’t sure about how something worked on a card and they explained it in a way that I understood without being pompous or rude about it like a lot of shops do. I think this shop is very underrated and I’d love for them to grow even more as a shop even if they don’t need to being they already have a massive collection. I’d also like to state again how kind the staff is and I appreciate it greatly and will be coming back.

The owner helped me complete my master set of destined rivals by searching through her entire bulk of reverse holos and we were able to find almost everything I needed. Very family friendly and fair prices. Small family owned businesses like these give me faith in the pokemon community and I will pay it forward. Thank you guys for making my work trip more enjoyable. Will be returning again with deeper pockets.

Stop by the other day near closing to pick up a couple packs before my haircut. Didn’t realize they were about to close and was more than ok coming back the another day. It the lady working there told no worries and still helped me out. Great people great selection and great customer service. Ps. Actually pulled one of the chases from those packs. Officially my new favorite store

Such an awesome local shop! It’s run by a super friendly mother and son team who always make me feel welcome every time I stop by. They’ve even taken requests for the Pokémon cards I’ve been hunting down, which is just awesome sauce! I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to find this place, but I’m glad I did. It’s great finally having a shop in town that I can count on for cards, games, and good vibes. Highly recommend checking them out!
