Phoenix Rise

Totally different and better store under new management and new store director. Place was clean, and staff were friendly, helpful and patient. So happy to have the closest local shop be an awesome place now.

Excellent customer service and stuff is decently priced. I only gave 4 stars because if you go to sell or trade cards to the store you will probably get about 20-30% of the value of the card. Otherwise a great place to trade and connect.

We met the owner of Phoenix Rise at a Cookie Run Pop Up in Carrollton. My son is 10 and has never been exposed to card games before. I wish I remembered his name to properly thank him. He was patient and taught him the basics of the Cookie Run Card Game. We wished we lived closer but he made a big impression and opened up a new genre of games he can play. Thank you!

Decent place with selections, only thing I would say that gave me side eye is taking off the top loader of one of my cards after purchasing. I know it’s $1-2 of plastic but if I’m buying a card that is $30-40 I’d want to protect it going home. Nothing too bad but definitely gave me a side eye that the worker actively took it off the card. It gave 10k no guard vibes. Idk if I’ll go back but definitely worth a stop if you all don’t care about the small things. Still a great shop with great selections and bulk.

Visted Sci Fi Factory for the first time this past weekend. I called over 15 stores for a specific D&D book and this was the only place that had it! The first thing I noticed when walking in were the 5 tables setup for Warhammer/war gaming use, tons of terrain for free use for those games, and a spectacular paint selection section. Next was the great assortment of different card games in both sealed and single variety to purchase, and the massive play area for TCG and board games. The customer service was top notch as they were able to hold the book in called for, so i could make my hour plus drive out to their location! Anytime I'm in the Ft. Worth area, I'm definitely swinging by again.
