Pack Wars

Amazing addition to Anderson, MO. Great atmosphere on the inside and lots of merchandise. Spacious and great set up for community gaming.

The owner TJ is really nice and easy to work with. He's also very knowledgeable about what he has in the store. Big collection of both modern and vintage pokemon.

You get those hidden gems in small town america and pack wars IS that gem. You have all your card needs, accessory needs, and random off the wall snacks 😆. You wont find a more accepting group of people to meet up with to enjoy playing card games or dnd with than you will here. The employees will happily take time to play some games with you if you ask. Looking for something to do on Friday and Saturday? Enjoy mtg nights where the shop has stayed open till about 3 am running tournaments and competitions or just regular play. If youre into pokemon, then find yourself there on Sundays and youll have more than your fair share of locals who are battling and having a great time. If youre traveling through the area, stop in and say hi. It'll be worth stopping in, I promise, even if it is to see the stores mascot.

Edited to clarify: Pack Wars offers 60% trade value, which is higher than most places. Pack Wars is a real gem in this area. I drove from Oklahoma to visit this place and I will definitely be coming back. TJ was likeable, friendly and super helpful. I came in to check out the place and trade off some high end mtg cards for bulk commons and I left a very happy customer, feeling like both sides got a very fair and mutually beneficial deal. As with any trade situation I came in with low expectations (as I think anyone should, coming into a place for the first time looking for trades), and was provided with very reasonable options for my trades. If you're coming into this place to trade, you should have reasonable expectations as to your trade value. This is a mom and pop store and while they're not looking to rip you off, they also have to make money as well. Trade value for most places typically runs 25-50% of market value depending on the product. These guys are great at 60%. You will not leave disappointed. I was happily surprised at the amount of different items they had in stock, especially for being in such a small town. As I said before, this place is a gem and we are so lucky to have it. I will definitely be back.

The owners are amazing! Great selection of MTG, and they have a selection of almost everything else from Warhammer 40K, D&D, to Pokémon! The new storefront is even better! Cant say enough good things about Pack Wars! 10/5 stars!
