Otaku Takeout

Really cool store, lots of anime stuff. They have a ramen noodle bar in the back and lots of unique foods that are not from this country. They also have an arcade next door with lots of different style games.

I used to come here all the time just because I love anime and love the environment. Unfortunately everything is priced pretty high but can’t complain too much. What really made me upset was once while I was there, I heard the manager say a slur while I was looking around. While they didn’t say it to me, I still feel like that is not the time or place to say such things. Upon talking to others, I have found out that this manager, white may I add, has been saying the n word on the floor and to coworkers. I can not support a business that allows such things to happen so I unfortunately will be finding somewhere else to take my business.

I love the style and anime theme! The arcade games and bar are cool additions. They have a lot of assortment of plushies, action figures, snacks, games, and more. It’s a little pricey. A lot of the toys are assumedly collectors items so I assume that’s why they’re expensive? I wasn’t a big fan of having to do self check out for the arcade because we struggled getting the game card to load properly. The card wouldn’t allow us to play multiplayer games. Many of the games were out of order so we’re glad that it was pay by the hour / time not by the game.

Everyone was so nice and the prices were actually really good!! It had a very nice vibe. Despite there being a lot of people in the store when I went, the atmosphere made up for any anxiety. The person who rang me up was INCREDIBLY nice !! I bought 4 figures for about $120 :D !!!

Best nerd store I have found in Arkansas. They truely curate amazing products (both retro and new anime alike). They also have a snack/drink/ramen section where you can enjoy ramen there and watch some anime. Prices are reasonable as well, you'll find things are less expensive than shopping at somewhere like Hot Topic. I also love how fresh their inventory is. I will go every few months and all of the inventory will seem completely new!! Love this nerdy gem of a store. 💎 Staff is always friendly. No complaints.
