Orion Bricks and Games

I really wanted to genuinely love this card shop, but unfortunately today that was spoiled for me. My first visit to this location a few weeks back went great. I had called and spoke with a gentleman who held a Chaos Riding ETB for me. Upon my arrival, I noticed that they had Ascended Heroes mini tins, so instead of the ETB, I went with a few of the mini tins. Out of those tins I bought, I was able to pull not just one, but two of the Pink Pikachus! Everything that happened with my first encounter was fantastic, but today’s interaction was not so pleasant. I called in around 12 at opening and spoke with a female employee about their current stock. I asked the lady if they do holds, to which she replied that they do not hold items. This I don’t necessarily have an issue with because, being an avid collector, I understand how sought after Pokémon cards are. I do think that if they’re going to have a policy, it should be the same all the time. Not that I call in and speak to one employee and they hold a single item for me, and then the next employee will not. The inconsistency is slightly annoying, but I understand it. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the comment she made. She said, “If someone walks in and hands me cash, I’m selling it.” That comment right there told me all I need to know about this card shop. Unfortunately, it just screams that they’re in it for the money, and that’s it. I definitely understand the policy, but if that is the policy, then it needs to be enforced all the time, not dependent on the mood of the employee. Thank you to the gentleman who sold me the Ascended Heroes tins a few weeks back. I got some great pulls! But unfortunately, the comment made to me really rubbed me the wrong way and gives me weird vibes about the shop in general.

Great card and game store! Fair prices, lots of variety to choose from, and friendly customer service. The employees are very knowledgeable and eager to help get what you need. Fill a bag dice specials are unbeatable! I highly recommend checking it out for all your card game needs!

Orion has a lovely, kind, knowledgeable staff ready to help. They were welcoming and accommodating to our very large group of players. They have snacks and beverages available for sale, along with plenty of merchandise to browse. My only advice is to check out the space ahead of time - it’s a bit of a smaller store so you may have to fight for space. Thanks yall!

We visited for the first time last weekend and we'll definitely be going back! They have packed a ton into a small space in a really visually appealing way and somehow still made room for a really great event space (and the bathroom was CLEAN!) There was a lot to choose from and the person working was kind and friendly. If you like Lego or games, it's for sure worth a visit.

Amazing store to go to, the staff are always amazing and helpful. Huge selection of awesome Lego kits, wide selection of board games and they have an amazing variety of MTG boosters and singles (the also have other tcg boosters). Always a fun time going in there to shop, or even get a couple games of commander in (theres usually someone there who's down to play).
