Oblivion Games

At the end of the day it is their business to do whatever but I’d take my business other places. They sell packs over market with no negotiation and singles that were over market as well can’t negotiate because “it’s stickers at this price” which I understand if you round up a little but rounding up and adding another 25% is weird and still no negotiation after another employee said singles were is weird too but hey it’s their business. Whoever runs replies also is weird with their responses and coming for small creators who help make these hobby’s become fun just because they don’t agree with the shops opinion and style which is really unprofessional.

The store was clean. Well maintained and seemed to have a few groups of local players chatting and playing tcg, enjoying themselves. I say these things because I dont want it to seem like im going out of my way to trash on the place, but I am going out of my way to give an honest review. I came in looking for ascended heroes packs, going for $20 a pop. Inquired on the booster bundle, even the cashier laughed telling me the $120 price tag, no discount for bigger purchases. Okay I still wanted to support. Scoped a base set 2 blastoise that didnt have a price so I asked. A co worker said she thought it was for 50 and that its heavily played/damaged. He took the card out and showed me and it was clearly played but I still wanted for my pc. Going rate for a heavily played base set 2 was $35, so I offered exactly that even though it was honestly bordering on the heavily damaged on the back. His counter offer was $60. Hope this review helps. My opinion: come here if youre looking for things to be in stock but dont come if youre looking for anything close to fair value or a willingness to work on price. Went to gamestop 10 min later and had 2 booster bundles for $85 each. Yes im actually saying gamestops prices make this place look like "gamestop"

Depending if this is real or not will change the review lol. Had a fun time looking through the Pokemon Bulks and found this puppy. Weren’t sure if it was fake or not, but the decision was that it was real. Will come back 70 from now to change review 😁

I work in retail. I understand supply and demand. I’ve shopped here once before and the place is alive when they’re hosting their tournaments. Fun environment. But upon entering and driving 20 minutes to pick up some cards I was immediately let down. In the majority of other shops OP-15 is currently $9-$10/pack. This shop is charging $15 a pack. The store is big and has a great open floor plan, but they’re overcharging on packs currently.

Stopped by today to look at Pokemon cards. They had a great selection and the staff was very helpful/friendly. There were several people in the shop and each person was dealt with simultaneously. It was an easy experience and I learned a lot as a new collector. Thanks! 😊
