I usually do not leave bad reviews but this experience put a sour taste in my mouth. I came in with a few friends wanting to explore a new card/game shop with some cool artwork on the windows and was immediately greeted in a very rude way. We asked if they had any sealed pokemon cards so we could open and have a good time. The lady expressed to us in an unfriendly way that they are only for the “exclusive game club”. I understood where she was coming from but the way she expressed it made me never want to come back to the store unfortunately. I also asked about singles so I could potentially add to my binder. She said “we have some in the case and binder” but didn’t seem like she cared to help me find them as she sat on the couch. We decided to leave considering this was not a good experience and said “have a good evening” and got no response…

I wanted to have a better experience here, but my online order was frustrating. I placed an order for an item labeled as in store pickup only, which I did miss. However, the website still allowed me to check out normally and select and pay for shipping. Afterward, I was emailed a rather blunt email on that I would either need to accept a 10% fee for a refund or pay an additional $100 to complete the order. This was confusing, especially since the website elsewhere mentions a 5% refund fee, so the jump to 10% felt inconsistent. It also felt odd to apply a higher fee for an item that was never fulfilled or shipped and did not need to be restocked. After multiple attempts to reach out, I received no response. The order was eventually canceled without any additional communication and I received a partial refund. Based on this experience, I would recommend caution when ordering from Nerdtopiapa. They feel like probably a great in person store but I would definitely advise against purchasing online unless you're nearby. Don't trust the shipping option listed.

As a recent returning MTG player, with a spotty play history. I finally made it to my first pre-release event. I got beaten pretty soundly, but am anxious to make it back ther again soon. Lorwynn Eclipsed. They were wonderful and welcoming to my idiocy.

Imma give it a 3, I didn't totally dislike the shop. Its one of the only 2 Tabletop shops from Hanover to Gettysburg and Westminster. Its more of a Table top hang out vs a TCG LSG shop. Minimal new releases and they only support 1-3 TCGs in product. They never answer the phone, I actually called while in the store to test it. And they seem to only respond via their discord. My problem is, the regulars can be creepy and heckle women in the store. If you're playing something that's not Magic the gathering, they let you know their displeasure... I was told this was a safe space for women to play TCG and table tops without judgement or heckling. But turns out, the owners buddies didn't get the memo and are comfortable being so forward. We can't control what a person does or say, but when it's heard and happening right in front of the owners, I expect them to correct their friends for being creepy and shaming other players. Also, its difficult to be at the tables when proper etiquette isn't encouraged. One of the regular's has a kid that takes up 3-4 spots on their own, during an event, that seemed kinda selfish. I started seeing the shop be treated like a hang out with special treatment for regulars, not something that feels like I should go out of my way anymore to visit. PROS: The owners have unique crafted personal items for sale. Newly released Dragon shield sleeves and really cool products that are hard to find offline. And all in all, the owners have been nice. No fee for tables.

I popped over to the shop last Friday. I'd noted the sign for it the week before and finally had free time to stop in. I was greeted immediately after entering the store by the owners. They showed me around and told me about plans for the shop. There's not much there at the moment, but they explained that more stock would be coming soon. Even so, they have cool things right now. I love their dedication to making the shop a welcoming space and that they're hosting local artists' works! This spot is full of promise and I'm excited to stop in again soon.
