Ignore these wack negative reviews. If you live in or near the Conyers/Covington area, love tcg’s and wanna meet some chill people to play or trade cards with, this is a great place to do that. I’ve been coming here for over a year to play, buy and trade. I’ve played in several yugioh tournaments, spent hours playing magic with friends and the owner Jeremy recently got me into playing rift bound which I’ve been loving. My girlfriend just started collecting Pokemon cards herself and every time she comes in, whether it’s with or without me Jeremy is always kind, respectful and always gives her a fair price when buying singles or packs. The owner has shown me that he wants to help build the love of the hobby in the community so that everyone can have a safe and enjoyable experience when it comes to the world of tcg’s.

My experience at Mystic Falls Cardboard Company was unfortunately disappointing. The store itself is small and, in my opinion, could be cleaner and better maintained. I will say that the staff seemed knowledgeable about Magic: The Gathering and Riftbound, and they were friendly during our initial interaction. However, I ran into issues when trying to purchase a trainer card. The owner appeared to misunderstand how TCGplayer pricing works and was using the highest listed storefront price rather than the actual market value. The card I wanted had a market price of around $0.93, but I was told it would cost $2.99. Since I sell on TCGplayer myself, I tried to politely explain the difference between market prices and individual sellers paying for promoted listings. I even showed the market data, but the conversation quickly became uncomfortable, and I was told I could not purchase anything because, in the owner's words, customers should not know more than the first price they see. Another concern I had was seeing cards that I believed might not have been authentic. I noticed some cards that appeared to be missing the proper texture expected on genuine versions, although I did not have the opportunity to discuss this further after being asked to leave. My overall impression was that prices on many items seemed significantly marked up, especially if you were not part of their regular Magic or Riftbound community. While the employees were friendly on the surface, I personally felt that making a sale at inflated prices was more important than providing fair value or listening to customer concerns. This is simply my personal experience, and others may have a different one, but I would encourage buyers to do their research on card values and authenticity before making purchases here. Only customer service they have is the kind were the Owner and staff are right so all the real needs with knowledge beyond magic and you know how to bath best to leave the Goblins alone here.

Went here one time on the way to ATL and it was pretty overpriced for most things pokemon related I guess its to be expected in this market but I’ve been to plenty of shops that are at least in between MSRP and resale. I also just want to see what creative insult the owner comes up with in response to this review (: You really did disappoint with the reply ): all you could insult was my name??? Come on man I’ve seen you go nuts on people in the replies call me stupid or something. Also enjoy being the literal worst rated card shop in all of Georgia and a genuine shot for the worst in all of the southeast.

As someone newer to playing magic and riftbound I was a little nervous about walking into the card shop. From the moment my husband and I walked I realized there was no need to be nervous. The owner is friendly along with the player base in the shop. He had no problem answering my million questions I had about the games. There wasnt any sexist treatment going on from the community or the owners. Where that came from in the other reviews is just made up. Will definitely be back to shop and play some as well. Thankyou for being so welcoming to newcomers!!!

I stopped by Mystic Falls Cardboard Company and honestly the most entertaining part wasn’t the cards, it was reading the owner’s responses to the negative reviews afterward. If customer service were a trading card game, this place would be running a deck full of defensive comments and zero self-awareness. The shop itself is tiny and chaotic, and asking about prices feels like starting a side quest. Instead of clear answers, it often turns into a group effort of “let’s see what the internet says this might be worth.” Nothing inspires confidence like the store figuring out the price at the same time as the customer. But the real show happens online. Scroll through the reviews and you’ll find the owner battling critics like it’s a comment-section boss fight. Instead of taking feedback and improving the shop, many responses read like someone angrily replying at 2AM after losing a round of Pokémon. A card shop should be fun a place where collectors hang out, trade stories, and talk about the hobby. Instead, the vibe here sometimes feels like you’re walking into someone’s living room who’s already annoyed you showed up. The ironic part is that a little humility and organization would probably fix most of the complaints people keep bringing up. Until then, the best pulls at this shop might just be the screenshots of the review replies. ⭐ Bonus entertainment if you enjoy watching a business owner argue with his own customers in the review section. Now the owner can respond with a little witty or demeaning comment to make him feel better.
