Paid the $100 price point hit kings football thing and was given a Jim Kelly Warren Moon 3/6 auto jersey patch card. It was made by Leaf and I didn’t know much about it . When I took it to local card shops to try to find out, the consensus was that I pretty much got hosed and it held no value near $100 or really much interest. I had a better experience the first time I tried this but I do feel a bit cheated and robbed on this one.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a collector of cards for almost 10 years. Avoid this shop AT ALL COSTS. The prices are above market and when I walked into the store, I was appalled at what I was seeing because so many people have praised them. I’ll admit I’m a bit bias since they egregiously took advantage of me at a card show once which I let happen, but i got the last laugh. I thought going to their store would have been redeemable for them, not even close. After seeing how overpriced their inventory is, actively selling Topps series 2 all star boxes for 90 bucks while I can actively buy them at other card stores for MSRP (50 dollars), I decided to test them once more with a card in one of their cases. I found the latest sales on eBay and it ranged from 550,525, and even one for 510. When I called a worker over to ask their price, he told me it would cost me 670 dollars. I didn’t even try to haggle the price with them because the last time they did that they were so insistent that I was getting a good deal and to be honest, this was just for me to see how much they are up charging on products. I encourage everyone to avoid this shop, avoid dealing with them unless you want to feel lowballed and taken advantage of.

I wanted to leave a better review after returning home, but I love this store sm. Everyone is so nice and friendly! They have so many great sealed pokemon products and lovely slabs~ picked up these two from them an I couldn’t be happier! I’m a huge N and Jolteon fan so having these in my personal collection is amazing. Always a pleasure :)

I just visited Monmouth Cards in West Long Branch for the first time today. And from the minute I walked in I was impressed. The staff instantly greeted me. The special guests Vinny Curry and Alex Giaimo were amazing and very engaging with the fans. Holly was so very helpful with all the photos and videos. It was a combo of guests, rips, games and trades. Truly an event. Tim the manager was awesome to all of his customers and answered any questions. You can tell he truly cares. I was amazed at how invested all the kids were once the trading started. I am coming back with my son and I encourage any locals to visit this shop.

Pretty decent product from my experience. I did Hit Kings and Slab Kings. Nothing crazy from the Slab Kings - hence the cheaper price. Still got a cool PSA 10 Luis Robert and a few other smaller items. Hit Kings felt much more rewarding as I got a very cool relic card Mickey Mantle. I’ll attach the photos below. IMO as a collector I like spending a bit more for guarantees. Unsure of total value but I do recommend the Hit Kings for a fun pull experience!
