Mint City Collectibles

I've had a couple visits while there and just browsing, they staff have been friendly and welcoming. Was looking for some items (the pricing was fair, they arnt gouging) and the staff working seemed interested in what I was looking for and chatting while I got what I was after and was happy with my experience. Would reccomend if you are into trading cards.

I’ve come here quite often. Have spent God knows how much money, and traded quite a bit to the shop. Most of the guys I’ve worked with have been very nice. I’ve traded some things way under market (so less than the 80% credit) but in turn bought some sealed from the shop. I came today, and got estimate from one of the guys for what I was trading in who was very patient. I was going to buy an Ascended Heroes PKC ETB for $520 and still pay over $100 to buy it (no problem). Right when I was going to checkout, a bearded guy who works there (not sure if he’s the owner) stops him because according to him it should be $600 (last sold). He looked at me like I’m stupid when I showed price today at $505 in Collectr app. The guy who helped me felt bad but he couldn’t say anything even after we agreed on price for my cards and price for ETB. If they want to sell it at that price that’s fine, but don’t waste people’s time by changing the price last second. It sucks cause I loved this shop, the guys are great. I’ve traded things way under market thinking I had good relationship as I was taking stuff off their hands as well. ( I never once cashed). I think it’s better if the shop is run by that one bearded guy and has no price tags on anything. That way he can spend all day looking at whatever app he uses and makes sure he squeezes every dollar out of everyone.

One of the most honest and fairly priced card shops I’ve visited. The staff is great and the selection is solid. They didn’t have a large sports card selection yet, but since they’re newer, I’m sure that will grow over time. Overall, an awesome place.

Great selection of Pokemon cards and other items! We thoroughly enjoyed looking at everything in the cases and binders. Interior was very clean and modern. Staff was really nice. We’ll definitely be back.

These guys are amazing! I visit Charlotte often for work and thought it would be fun to stop by. Excellent customer service, fair prices, and they have a great selection. I will be visiting every time I am in Charlotte! Awesome shop! Bought a bunch of bulk and fun cards for my collection!
