They have very friendly staff. They feel like a family more than a business which is good for this kind of place. They even have cards for the other card shops next to their register so when you don't find what you're looking for they can direct you to another store. Yes they lean more towards magic but every shop has its main focus and I personally like that.

I recently got into collecting Pokémon cards, specifically the cuter ones. The owner was SO kind, let me show him the cute ones I’m into right now, and he had a GREAT collection to choose from. He gave me a pack of top loaders for free since I didn’t have any! Literally such an amazing experience and I WILL be back :) come check them out!!

Customer service is not a strong point for this business. The employee sitting by the round table behind the counter was extremely unwelcoming on Saturday. As a beginner mtg player, it is already frightening enough to go into a local card shop. Why would a business act like the customer is an inconvenience to them. I will not be shopping here and will be taking my business elsewhere. I was excited to check this shop out as well, just so disappointing.

I have shopped at Mana Vault since the original store was a few doors down on Meridian back in 2011-2012. I stopped after I stopped playing Magic back in 2023, but due to my wife wishing to get into the game to play with her friend, we went on Saturday, 3/7/26, after I saw a post of their new traded in cards which included some dinosaur cards my wife wanted. When we arrived, we were greeted not by staff, but by an old friend I hadn’t seen in years who was also a customer that day. We chatted with him a bit, and while we did, who I presume was an employee said “excuse me” as he tried to get some paper towels off the counter. He said something to the woman at the round table behind the counter about the public restroom then left. Later, as I was looking at the artifact case, another employee said “excuse me” to get behind the counter. I didn’t pay attention to what he went for back there, but he promptly left back out to the floor. Finally, after I had an idea of the items I wanted, I went back to the employee sitting at the round table behind the counter. I said “excuse me” and she looked up and looked irritated that I was bothering her. I tried saying I wanted to check on some prices, by my voice was still hoarse from illness and I couldn’t project. She just said “what” and looked more annoyed. I got out that I wanted to check prices loud enough, and she just responded with “we use tcg market,” got up, sold Girl Scout cookies to another couple, then promptly ignored us again. I have never had an experience like this at Mana Vault before. I felt unwelcome and like a nuisance rather than a customer anyone wanted to help. I’ve spent more money than I care to calculate at this store and loved my time there. I was excited to teach my wife how to play and get new things both for her and myself. Unfortunately, we will have to find elsewhere to both get any product as well as play as this was just an overwhelmingly negative experience.

Me and my husband went in this past Saturday to get a couple of cards for my deck. I’m a very VERY new player to MTG. To start off, we were never greeted by ANYONE who worked at the store. The ONLY person that greeted us was an old friend and he doesn’t even work there. When it came time to ask an associate to look at some cards, my husband approached the counter and tried to talk to the woman that was sitting down at the table behind the counter. Unfortunately my husband could not project what he was saying because of his voice at the time. The woman looked irritated and kept asking “What?! What?!” Rather than getting closer to the counter and talking to my husband, she sat there and continued to yell “what?!” At him. I came over to assist my husband and told her we wanted to look at cards and price them to which she rolled her eyes and looked irritated and said “we price everything from ______website.” Before we could ask anything else, she IMMEDIATELY got up and gave a couple their GirlScout cookies and went back to ignoring us. I was HEATED and immediately told my husband to forget buying anything here because of the service and we will just buy what we need else where. We more than likely won’t be back and my husband liked spending money there. As a new player, this is disappointing and has soured my experience.
