Lords of Cardboard

The bell chimed as I stepped into The Lords of Cardboard, escaping the drizzle. Idly flipping through a bulk box, my fingers brushed against a single, unlabelled foil card buried at the bottom. Suddenly, the shop's noise vanished. The foil flared with a blinding golden light, and a sudden, overwhelming warmth surged into my chest. The lifelong fog of hesitation burned away in an instant; the currents of an ancient adventure had locked onto me. I sleeved the card and paid the clerk in silence. The bell jingled again as I opened the door to leave. Not quite able to understand the weight of my new Fate, I looked backward at the clerk. He nodded solemnly. I understood. I stepped outside into the fading rain. The air tasted electric, and I walked into the city - no longer a passive bystander, but a hero answering the call.

Awesome gaming atmosphere, and super friendly players. The staff is pretty awesome and always willing to look for cards you need. They're always playing some banger music too. Great little spot, definitely worth heading to.

This store is an amazing addition to Webster. Matt and Flip are amazing people to speak with and we shared a lot of our experiences and joys for TCG’s. Make sure you also stop by on Friday’s for Friday MtG Commander night! I highly recommend you check out this store! Pokémon, MTG and more are available here. Loved the atmosphere and the interaction!

Flip and Matt are extremely knowledgeable in both Magic the Gathering and Pokemon. They offer singles and a small but great selection of booster packs. If your into Magic or Pokemon you definitely need to stop in here. 5 stars and i will absolutely be coming back

This location is a precious gem! Although small they have they have a great collection of singles and products for Pokémon and Magic the Gathering. The owners are very personable and knowledgeable and will even play some games as long as the store is slow enough to accommodate it. Since finding it I have introduced my friends to this location and they all want to go back. Friday nights have been turning into Commander night and I have been thoroughly enjoying meeting like-minded people while playing games. If you have the chance I highly recommend stopping by and saying Hi!
