Me and My friends were looking for a place to buy and play pokemon and stumbled upon this place. We entered the store and were friendly and said hi to the owner. First Game store I've been to that charges you to sit at a table to play your own games. Apparently bringing your own packs into the store is a problem too. So I guess rip them in the parking lot and it's all good? Not everyone has money to buy marked up packs all the time and we buy them from stores like Best Buy. If your just tryna play games with your friends just go to a cafe or cross the street and play at the library, would not recommend this place👎🏻. If you want another 20$ subscription to add to your life be my guest.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Lock & Key Adventures’ Guild in Lincoln City. The biggest issue was how inconsiderate and unwelcoming the staff were. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt more focused on finding ways to charge customers rather than making them feel welcome or providing a good environment to enjoy the space. What really surprised me was the $5-per-person charge simply for sitting at a table to play with your own cards. To be clear, we weren’t asking the business to provide us with cards or supplies we were bringing and using our own. Being charged $5 per person just to sit at a table and play was extremely frustrating and felt unreasonable. The staff’s attitude throughout the situation only made things worse. Rather than handling the situation in a friendly and accommodating way, they came across as inconsiderate and dismissive. There are plenty of places where people can gather to play cards without feeling like they’re being nickel-and-dimed for simply occupying a table. I understand that a business has expenses and needs to make money, but there’s a difference between having reasonable policies and making customers feel unwelcome over something as simple as sitting down with their own cards. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression, and I would have a hard time recommending this place to others.

... I'm done they scalping... First encounter, I had got a lorwyn eclipsed commander deck... was selling here for 55... another store, with even less stock! Was selling them at 40 saying that was the usual inuniverse price... ah Didn't really stop me from coming in the store for the next several months and giving them my money. It was really excited to see a game called farms race, they seem to have opentable gaming, and I had brought it in one day with my partner, who had been very excited to come along, because I had told her they were 2 very kind, Elderly kribbage players, we were ignored mostly till I had to basically hold up my hand and ask. We never got to play anything on that visit. Not trying using it as a crutch, but I have adhd and interacting with people is very anxiety producing, i tend to over talk a lot, and people find it off putting, but people are usually kind, once they understand and get to know me. We were only there, because we were told, they would have an omega box in stock of it secrets of strixhaven haven, and my partner had made the kind gesture to Drive out on an off work day! (I only stop here to spend precious break time on the road) purchase a hotel on the coast for us just to attempt to wait. The multiple days we were told it would be available, It never was on any day mentioned! Partner also made, as the kindest loving gesture, found the omega box selling online, and scooped it up for me for cheaper then the owner said his was $60. Which I WAS COMPLEATLY WILLING TO PAY. never asked for a disco once after that time he made it clear with the saron deck... im really kinda hurt. The only discount I ever asked him for was on a Saron commander deck I saw for 70 and he said his was 90... so i gave my money to mom valley games... they used the price too later dont worry, lol Only ever asked the owner if he was willing to go down a few bucks so I could give him my money, instead of a much closer, all be it, better stocked stores inland that seem to have a handle on their pricing. One specific topic: they have fantastic 4 commander deck at 70... didnt ask for a discount. Saw it for 55 at another store in Newport down the road. Got it there... coast tax, no thanks. This truly brakes my heart, we bonded over gorillaz and love oth the sea. Felt a connection here once... Peace out

Wonderful game store! Visited here on vacation, and their collection is amazing! Way better than my hometown store. They have a ton of great games, including some I've been looking for but haven't seen in any other stores. Definitely worth checking out!

This place was great. Some friends and I joined for pre-release while on vacation and had a great time. Staff was super nice and great to be around. The store itself is incredibly cozy. Plenty of tables and couches for playing games. We need something like this where I live. Also I pulled some fire from packs I got there, will definitely stop by next time Im in town.
