This is a great game store, and I was at 5 stars before, but my second experience clouded my first, and 5 stars first trip and 1 the next equals a middle of the road 3. The staff is great still: polite, friendly and knowledgeable, but I'm led to believe by my recent trip that I could have saved my trip and my day shopping online. Waited ten minutes to be checked out, with one person ahead of me trying to buy a candy bar while they engaged in a conversation with the clerk. As time was not on my side, and I was sort of hoping to get in, tell them they're great and get my stuff, I found it sort of inconvenient to stand and wait with my arms full of merchandise, and hope that I wouldn't keep my ride waiting. Five minutes no counter resolution and I'll admit my nerves were getting a bit over tangled. Ten minutes, and my ride told me I could hoof it home if I wasn't done. No movement at the counter, happy little conversation as they waited for who knows what without acknowledging me, so I put back my desired books, game, and figures, and headed out with everyone apparently amused I couldn't wait a reasonable amount of time. First visit amazing, second lacking, and I'm too far away from Fargo to make a habit of stopping by for visits three, four and five, so... three stars, likely from an undeserverved reason on my part, but yet I'm writing about it now. Might do my shopping on the internet from here on out. *shrug*

Amazing selection and really good prices. Flames of War, Konflikt 44, Team Yankee, Battletech, Warhammer, Star Wars and dozens of others. They even carry Iron Wind minis for Btech. That's rare. Wish it wasn't halfway across the US from me.

Although the somewhat out-of-the-way location makes it hard to stumble upon, those who go looking for it will certainly be impressed. This gaming store not only has a stellar selection of tabletop, board, and other social games, and hobby supplies, but provides the local community with a free public space and social hub for gamers of all types to meet up and share their hobbies with one another. The gaming area boasts plenty of large tables and a massive selection of varied terrain for wargames at any scale; and also entire armies for popular games, free to use for the public. Little Big Wars is a treasure of the community here in the Fargo-Moorhead area which has allowed many niche games to flourish thanks to nothing more than a shared space for the community to meet and play. Many thanks to the whole team who runs Little Big Wars for providing this cherished space which serves as such an important piece of gaming infrastructure for our local community. So many people simply wouldn't play if it weren't for you.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the excellent service. I ordered Memoir 44, and the shipment arrived safely and in perfect condition. All the components were complete, and everything was exactly as expected. Honestly, I’m really happy with the experience, and I wanted to let you know that you earned a fan of your beautiful store. Thank you again. Wishing you continued success, and I’m definitely looking forward to ordering more games from you in the future. Sending you love and respect from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦🤍💚 Best regards, Anas Hakami

Just stopped in after hearing about it for the first time. Started getting into magic and they had everything I could ever need. Not only that but the guy helping us (think his name is Brandon?) was an absolute gem. Super nice guy and helped us get what we needed and answered all the questions we had. Can’t recommend this place enough for the table top game enthusiasts in the area
