Lion's Eye Games

These people are straight RIP OFFS. They tried to sell me a RAW mewtwo card that’s ONLY worth like $30 for $280. Pathetic excuse for a business. Be warned guys. You’ll be paying 6 times for the actual and even more in market value.

Pleasantly surprised as I walked in to find this little hidden gem location in Jacksonville NC. Tons of MTG, Pokémon, Disney and LOTS more here at this great Location!

Extremely unwelcoming staff. My group waited by the display case for quite a while before another customer pointed out that we had been waiting, and only then did an employee come over to help us. The binders were also very disorganized. Nearly all of the singles were packed into two massive binders, making it difficult for multiple customers to browse at the same time. The biggest issue for me was the trade-in process. At no point were the values of my individual cards broken down or explained. Instead, I was told the store generally offers around 60% of market value for cards over $50 and 50% for cards below $50. I agreed to the trade, but afterward I realized I had no clear understanding of how each card had been valued, and I left feeling like I had received significantly less value than I expected. If you’re planning to trade valuable cards here, I strongly recommend asking for an itemized breakdown of every card’s value before agreeing to any deal. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing way to end the last day of my vacation.

I love coming here with my hubby and son. They always have so many Pokemon cards I want to buy! The people there are nice too.

Another gem in the rough, for all those MTG, and D&D and other card games this is definitely an amazing store, amazing people and atmosphere
