Lewis Game Shop

Called ahead for a product being released. Was told they have plenty and not to worry about them selling out. Asked if I could purchase it over the phone or reserve even a single box. They said no but reassured me that the game is not really popular and they would be astonished if it sold well and not to worry. Then they started selling well and tripled their prices to match, “market value” instead of MSRP. Whatever I’ll pay it, but never mind, they sold out and I wasted a week of calling and 3.5 hours of driving. Wouldn’t be as upset if they didn’t explain numerous times that they had plenty of inventory and not to worry about stock.

This store, does and will price gouge you. They overprice their retail items with upwards of 50% markup over other stores and have an incredibly parasitic buying and selling policy. Furthermore their events for hobbies such as magic the gathering are incredibly overpriced. Drive the extra miles and go elsewhere.

They'll buy your old Yu-Gi-Oh, MTG (Magic), and Pokemon, and probably more, if it's desirable to the market. P.S. MTG and Pokemon pay better. They have a smorgasbord of Trading Card Games and an entire room dedicated to learning and playing these games with friends, or soon to be friends! Have some fun and stop on by! :)

We were passing through and googled card shops so my son could get a few packs of Pokémon. He loved your shop. Very nice woman at the counter who rung us up and gave us newbies some advice!

I’ve bought two game systems from them, and several GBA, GameCube, Wii, and DS games. I’ve never had an issue with any of them, despite them being used, and their prices are pretty fair. I know they have a large card game draw, and despite that not being my thing, it’s nice to see people having a place to play and socialize. The staff I’ve interacted with have been very helpful and pleasant. 10/10
