Koalaty

I had Pokémon cards as a kid, but I've never actually played the game, so I decided the other day to grab a bunch online for cheap and learn the rules of the game. Didn't care if they were real necessarily, just wanted something I could use to play. I got them online and then searched if there were somewhere local to play- lo and behold, Koalaty Games was such a place, and it was 4 minutes from me. I decide to go check the place out, and while I'm at it, see if they could tell me whether or not the cards I got were real, just for the heck of it. I walked in, I expressed those thoughts to the very nice man behind the counter, and he checked them for me. We got to talking about game nights and card sleeves, and he suddenly grabs a stack of cards and a few semi-rigid sleeves, and just gives them to me free of charge. I normally wouldn't mention free stuff/discounts on reviews so that people don't start walking into a place expecting free stuff/discounts (please don't go in asking for free stuff lol), but his kindness here absolutely had to be mentioned. I'm not a collector, I'm just a guy who wants to learn a card game from his childhood, but I will absolutely *make* reasons to go there from now on, God willing. Shoutout to Koopa (his real name, I'm ashamed to admit, got completely wiped out of my brain as soon as I heard the nickname lol, I will rectify the situation upon my next visit) for being such a genuine dude. May your business be fruitful and blossom forth as a flower of the field

Loved the place, a very chill environment with great service, a lot of anime figures and plushies, the employee was fun to talk to, and there was a decent amount of trading cards, although I’ve never been much of a TGC fan. Definitely recommend going to even if you’ve never been a fan of these properties. I’ll probably go again someday. EDIT: I LOVE YOU GUYS, HOLY SHIT YOU GOT STREET FIGHTER STUFF?? I will definitely be coming back again, 2nd time back and it was just as good as the first.

My kids loves coming here. We love the store and so many cool stuff, to trading cards, action figure and many more. We will keep coming back.

Great place! The atmosphere is amazing. I just wish they would be open earlier in the day. I work in the afternoons so I can almost never come in. Aside from that excellent place to be and collect.

Really pleasant experience for first time coming. Bought some Yugioh singles & a plush. Enjoyed it the environment the store has. Would like to make it to a tournament day.
