IGAR Games

While they do not offer any TCG singles, they have a ton of sealed TCG products at any given time, and I love it! Usually I prefer a game store to carry singles, but the abundant selection of board games and TCG accessories present here more than make up for it! Plus the staff is very friendly :)

Absolute gem of a store! Always clean and welcoming. Gordon is impeccable, forthright, and honest with you even if it loses him the immediate or future sale (e.g. with the occasional distributor delay or the like, he will inform you of where to go instead of locking you in to a purchase commitment if the timing doesn't work for you) For this reason I tend to hold out until they get their stock so I can support them. I can't say enough to the effects of how much I appreciate the impact on our local hobby community IGAR has made. Hoorah, I got a rock!

At the time of writing this review, I have been frequenting IGAR for nearly a year. When I discovered them I had recently started playing Magic: the Gathering, and was looking for a local game store to participate in events at. Everything about IGAR has exceeded my expectations, and the only thing I really wish were different is that the store were bigger! The store's cleanliness is very well-maintained, which is a HUGE plus considering it's also a place where people gather for various gaming events. (Nobody wants crud-infested tables or a yucky bathroom) IGAR is the only local store I've visited which consistently does not inflate their TCG prices. They have a huge selection of board/tabletop games and accessories (like paints for minifigs, various dice, and other cool items). They're also very willing to order something in for you if they do not have it in-store and are able to get it for you! The store has a discord server, which has dedicated channels for different gaming interests (tabletop gaming, general TCGs, MTG-specific, etc.) You can find up-to-date event info in the Events section, and ask questions directly via the store questions channel. Gordon, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about the gaming industry - so much so that if my life depended on answering an obscure question on the topic (not likely, I know) Gordon would be my "phone-a-friend" lifeline. He's a great person to have a chat with while shopping, which is one of the things I deeply enjoy about going to IGAR. I cannot recommend IGAR enough, every time I visit my day gets brighter and my mood feels lighter! My go-to store for all my nerdy needs. :) * One thing for customers to note is that IGAR is not a card store! So they don't sell singles, and they only sell a handful of TCGs. (at the time of this review, I believe they are Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Lorcana, and Star Wars: Unlimited) They do sell plenty of card sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, etc.!

Gordon, the owner, is super helpful and knows a ton about the various games he carries. He is also very willing to order games in if he doesn't carry them. Great place to support!

My recent favorite place to go for board games! I bought a few already, few on my list to get, but their service is extremely good with a huge collection of games. They don’t carry the regular games like big stores, most of their items are special series. I boight BanG special edition and ticket to ride extension, both of them are fun to play with friends! Cant wait to go back, and they are open before and after listed hours!
