HobbyTown Virginia Beach

I normally have great experiences in this store. However, my last trip was so bad I'll never return. I asked a basic question about a rental rc drift car within 3 mins of using it and the short older fella yelled at me with food in his mouth, while telling me my question was stupid essentially. I returned, the rental car immediately Wished them a good evening and walked out. I did not ask for a refund. I literally just wanted to try a drift car because I was thinking about buying one. It looks like I'll be ordering everything online from now on.

Honestly, if i could rate 10 Stars, id do just that! After the most RUDE encounter with a local hobby shop , i drove almost 2Hours to check this place out and all i can say is WOW! You ever walk into a store whilst trying to understand what would best suit you when suddenly the room is filled with the giant ego of the salesman? Well not here, not only did I receive the best assistance from these guys amd gals, i was in utter shock with what a sweet bunch they are too! A hobby store that welcomes everyone! Thank you guys not only for the assistance, but the package deal EXPERIENCE!

Love these Hobby Town stores. This one was well stocked and reasonably priced on their inventory. There is something for everyone or look around and find a new hobby! The staff was very helpful and friendly! RC, Trains, Models and supplies of all kinds. Gaming, puzzles, toys, collectible cards. Also check out the new world of book shelf models!!!

This place is awesome! I spent a couple hours taking my RC car apart and getting it ready to go out, it’s a beautiful Saturday, and my charger isn’t working. I have no idea what happened to my charger and will not turn on. However, the Team at this hobby store is very dedicated to taking care of their customers. I called with one of the guys back in the RC department. He told me to bring, they troubleshot the unit, looked at my receipt and gave me another one. It was a great experience, I really recommend this place. If you are interested in getting into the hobby, this is my second experience and they’ve really had my back. Rich

Great store with a lot one would need to get started in multiple hobbies. RCs planes, boats, and cars. Models for military crafts, Gundam, Warhammer, and production vehicles. Legos, buildblox, wooden model kit, glider planes. STEM kits for the children both young and old. Do you like trains? Have it! You like to play tabletop campaigns? Come on in! The staff are always friendly and share the tips and tricks of any of their product for any level you may be on in your hobby journey. Love this place, and cant say enough about them.
