Daughter is turning 7 and she expressed interest in RC cars. I know nothing about them but, I was looking at some prices online and I didn't know if spending 300-400 on an RC would be the best for a 7 year and she might not even like it. We went in and I explained the situation and the gentleman there hooked us up with a great quality(and beginner friendly RC. He was knowledgeable, kind, and at no point did I feel I was being "up-sold." I would recommend this place. Especially for someone like myself that has no idea what they are looking for. Lol

If i can give 0 star for this establishment i would. Yesterday was my first time visiting this place because this hobbytown was the closest place that sells gundam kits from my airbnb. Im looking to get the new PG Nu gundam unleashed and the LED kit from this place, as soon i entered the store, the worker gave me that nasty look already. We just going to hide him under the name of "CONNOR". I was just browsing the gundam section and i can tell connor been watching me and making me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. Im the only one that he kept asking if i needed help eventhough its like 10 or more people was in the store by that time. To make the story short, i didnt buy the gundam that i really want i rather to spend my money on the store that wont giving me a bad impression already and a clerk that going to keep watching you for no reason. I can tell connor got bullied when he was in 3rd grade and they always steal his lunch money. If you ended up visiting this place and you see a not so tall white guy with a glasses, dont even bother to talk to him just leave. Because he will be watching you like your momma when she done cooking that pecan pie for thanksgiving. And im black so thats why.

Visiting from our of town and needed an item for a science project. I had not heard of this store previously, but it has such an amazing selection of rockets and fun science and hobby projects. I highly recommend a visit! This location also offers remote control car racing, which would be a super fun activity to do with kids. Looks like you can even rent cars for their track!

Ordered an SCX30 K10 and Jeep online. Charles was quick to call me and apologize that they didn't have the color in stock I wanted so I opted for the different color. They set the trucks aside for me at the front and I picked them up a few hours later. Great customer service. While I was there I opened up the K10 and broke it in on they're crawler course. From the looks of it, the drift course is more popular at this location because the crawler course needed some work. Worn down with patches and additions in various places. I did have a fun 10 mins or so till the battery died though and the cave in my video was a cool feature. I'd recommend this location and the SCX30 line. Can't wait to get the new trucks on my home course!

My favorite way to rate a store is on how happy the employees seem. When we visited the staff was helpful and seemed pretty happy. We weren't oversold on materials needed for a first time modeler, but we were given advice on what next steps might look like. There were kits for lots of different hobbies and tools and supplies for those who want to move beyond kits.
