By far, the coolest card shop we’ve been to in a while! My sons and I have come in twice and they treat my boys with so much kindness! Won’t go anywhere else!

We found this hobby shop while searching for a place nearby that sold Magic: The Gathering cards. My boyfriend has been teaching me how to play for the first time, and he's also teaching my daughter, so we wanted to pick up my very first deck. We actually arrived a little before the store opened, and there were already several people waiting outside. That alone felt like a great sign! Once the doors opened, we were greeted by someone who I believe was either the owner or an employee, and he immediately made us feel welcome. He helped my boyfriend pick out the perfect starter deck for me and took the time to answer our questions without making me feel overwhelmed as a brand-new player. He was incredibly friendly, approachable, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and packed with an awesome selection of trading card games, tabletop games, and accessories. As someone who's also into Dungeons & Dragons, I was excited to see a great selection of hardcover books that I'll definitely be coming back for. Overall, this shop has such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're completely new to the hobby or you've been playing for years, it feels like a place where everyone is welcome. We're so glad we found it, and we'll absolutely be back, probably sooner rather than later!

In town for a week from SoCal and had some downtime today (Tuesday) so I came to play their One piece tourney at 7pm. Great and fun experience! Today was pack per win, but what made it a memorable experience was the interaction with the local players and the overall great vibes. Appreciate everyone being so welcoming and treating me like a regular. I will definitely check it out if I am ever back in town for work. Thanks! -SinfulDani

A small business owned and operated by nerds for nerds, focused on hobby gaming (particularly miniature wargames like Warhammer and CCGs like Magic and Pokemon). Great staff and a casual atmosphere. Also an awesome place to check when looking for playing niche miniatures games like GW narrative-focused game systems, historical wargaming and independent titles.

Appreciate the team at HBG! The shop reminds you why local game stores matter. The vibe is welcoming whether you’re brand new to the hobby or have been playing for years. The staff are friendly and approachable, and you never feel rushed or pressured.
